Transmission delay when shifting very annoying. Scarcity of cup holders inconvenient. Location of USB port is very poor. I wish I didn't sit so low. I've added a cushion for height.

Imprezas never go out of style

I have a 1997 Subaru Impreza Wagon whose head gaskets finally went bad. Since then Subaru wheels turn in to grip the road even better, providing a quieter ride; head gaskets are no longer made of organic material to protect the new engine, and they replaced the EJ line of engines in 2016. Subarus are safe, EXTREMELY reliable requiring a periodic oil change and new tires (BUY THE RIGHT BRANDS MADE FOR AWD, AND ONLY ROTATE FRONT TO BACK) and they still make the BEST QUALITY AWD (Nissan and Mazda do a cheap imitation that wears out quickly because it's not good parts.) And, while Toyotas are nice enough, they ARE NOT A SUBARU. If you have a problem with a Subaru, well, go get your head checked. thank you very much (That's to MR Toyota writing a review that makes no sense to those of us who actually LOVE our cars. Wait until your Subie saves your life whether driving you through 3 feet of rushing waters in a hurricane, or successfully engages AWD through 2 feet of unplowed snow or saves you or your family's lives. Then come back to me with your platitudinal "insights', Mr Toyota. Yes, after almost 30 years, I am buying another Subaru Impreza.
