Used 2014 Subaru Forester 2.0XT Touring 4dr SUV AWD (2.0L 4cyl Turbo CVT) Consumer Reviews
Tube of Glue no Subaru
Never has such a young car needed so many premature replacements. For a time I was a fan of Subaru, there are too many other viable options at the same price point. I'll never own another nor would accept poor workmanship through & through from a vehicle that touts reliability. It's only reliability is that more parts will need replaced, displace yours as soon as you can.

2014 Subaru Forester Touring
I love my Subaru, with all the bells and whistles. I have 124,245 miles on it, and I’m going to keep it forever. Maybe some day I’ll have to put her on blocks, but I’ll still keep her.

SAVED MY LIFE!!!
I purchased my Subaru Forester in 2013 and had to attend a business meeting at the Oregon Coast. The trip required a 1-1/2 to 2 hour drive from Portland through a mountain range. On my way, I took a route that was an easy drive and ended up with a speeding ticket because the car was so quiet and glided along! The meeting was stressful and I mistakenly took the more challenging route to return. While going through the mountains on a 2-lane road with lots of curves and a ravine on my right, I fell asleep at the wheel! Eyesight alerted me that I was drifting to the right and I woke up, wrenched the wheel to the left, and returned to my lane. Without Eyesight, I might not be here today! Still have my Subaru and LOVE it. 💜

2.0 XT not impressed
A brief note on subaru's boxer engine based 135k miles of Forester XT ownership. There are many very good reasons why 99% of the cars on the road are not boxer engine. Its more difficult to service compare to the traditional inlines or V-configurations, thus require Subaru specialist, thus more costly inconvenience. Subaru keeps selling them because the public are enamored by their marketing just like how I fell for it. A very expensive lesson indeed, you'll see. On the other hand this is a none issue if you only lease it for couple of years.
