Used 2005 Saturn VUE Consumer Reviews
I LOVE IT!
I have been searching for a small (car- like) SUV for a long time and the Vue completely fits the bill! I like the dent-resistant exterior panels and the interior. So far, it is a blast to drive, the 3.5 V6 really moves! I wish that On-Star came standard and that the backend had more "cubby holes"; but it is a great vehicle and fits my family well. I don't feel like I am driving anything bigger than the car that I turned in (2001 Chevy Malibu). I paid less for it and got more features too. How cool is that?! I love the seats (leather/cloth mix) and how versitile it is while not being too big. The gas mileage is good, I do, however wish it had a bigger tank. I don't like getting gas!
ONE YEAR LATER
I wasn't planning to buy a Saturn, but after test driving the competition (Honda CRV, Toyota RAV 4) I was more impressed with better ride and handling of the Vue. It has a bigger feel to it. I got the Sport package that gave me alot more for the price than the other vehicles. The gas mileage is great, and I have plenty of room to haul stuff around. Customer service is tops. I put on a lot of freeway miles, so the handling issue and safety rating was a key selling point. I traded in a little Sentra. What a difference for $7 more a month in car payment which includes the Car Care service.

This is our first Saturn we have owned and it is by far the best vehicle. I love the room it has and the fold away cargo, I get a lot of compliments on our Vue. We have not had any major problems with it. We will definitely buy another Saturn, we are extremely happy.
Great Value!
The Saturn sales process is quite painless. I enjoyed the experience. My new Vue fits my urban neighborhood, and allows us to take our dogs, friends and gear to the mountains, beach, etc. Granted, we'll never be 'Off-Road Enthusiasts', but we can get away far enough for our needs. Driveability is excellent with (in my opinion) the best acceleration in it's class. I test drove many comparable SUV's, and felt the Vue best suited me.
So Far So Good!
When we bought our Vue we were excited for the Saturn vehicle. We'd never had problems with our other two and we are not disappointed now. Neat vehicle. We like sitting "up" a little above traffic and the SUV roominess in the back. Could be better with gas mileage. The sticker is a little misleading 29hwy/23city. We get around 25 & 21. This is a lot better than our old Suburban, though.
