Good Car
Been a good car for me. Bought with 57,000 miles and now has 109,000. Repairs/replacements: fuel regulator ($200), value seal ($75), battery ($50), tires ($300)and muffler ($90). The resale is disappointing though.
not too shabby
i bought my 94 SW1 over 2 years ago with 103,000 miles on it. i am now up to 140,000 miles and all i had to do was put in an alternator. the thing keeps running. i dont like how slow it is, but i guess the lack of speed and power increases longevity of the car.
Lasted
I never had any problems with my Saturn. It did have an oil leak so I stopped getting my oil changed 4 years ago and just started adding new oil in it. I have put well over 203,000 miles on this car without any problems. Seriously. I had wanted a new car so I kept thinking that with not getting its oil changed it might break down or something, but it never did! I actually sold it, and I must say I know it will keep going strong with the amount of miles and the sad sad way I abused it. (yes I know I was young & dumb I will never not change the oil in a car again)
1994 SL
It has been a nice and dependable car. I hope to get another 50,000 miles or more out of it. It still looks good.
Fantastic SL
I couldn't be happier with this car. With 230K miles, I've only replaced minor components, plus usual wear and tear, like 1 alternator, 1 battery. 5 sets of tires. Suspension is original, motor never gone into, still gets mid 30sMPG, doesn't burn oil. Interior still excellent, paint peeling from desert sun to be expected.
