Pros: It’s beautiful. Great style. Cummins is a monster. 68RFE Transmission shifts clean. Great fuel economy. Good fuel filtration. Exhaust braking saves brakes and even makes it more fuel efficient, somehow. Haven’t figured that one out. But it’s true with my truck. The sound of the Cummins is music to my ears. The alpine system with the powered woofer sound fantastic. I don’t need ANYTHING aftermarket in my sound system. 4x4 is 👌🏻. Towing my 7k lb trailer is NOTHING for this drivetrain. It’s a 6.7 liter Cummins Cons: The stock tires are junk. Firestone Transforce. They have 22k on them and have about 15k worth of tread left. Junk. Very uneven wear on the outside front. The drag links on these trucks have a problem, so Chrysler had their dealers weld the drag links. Now, I gotta break welds to align my truck. Very stupid and weak fix. I’ve been disappointed with dealer service on this truck. I told them if my issues. Made an appointment fir a week later. Get there and drop off the truck with them, and they say their diesel tech can’t look at it today. Gotta come back next week. But I work outta this truck. It’s a hassle to have to take a whole day for a darned alignment. I love this truck DESPITE the crap service from the dealer. I’m in a convo with RAMCares on a forum about this nonsense, and they seem willing to fix this drag link drama. As for the tires, I’m gonna make a bigger stink. These Firestone Transforce tires aren’t suitable for a go cart.
