992 is a great leap forward
The list of options is tempting but restraint will benefit the pocketbook and the driving thrill will still be there. After 23 years with my air-cooled 993 I took delivery of the 992 4S a week ago. Yesterday I took it up to the Angeles Crest Highway and choose "Sport Plus." It made me a better driver! Other Porsche drivers stopped to watch it (and to chat a bit). The new shift lever is actually better as one merely selects from R-N-D and dials in which of the sporty options to deploy. The electronics ARE very complex and it has taken a week to be fairly comfortable with them. I suggest spending a lot of time with the dealer to get trained. Maybe go back after a few days and review again. After one week I am very happy with the 992. Maybe after I have had a few months' experience my evaluation will change, but for now it is the all round best car I have ever driven.

Last analog true Porsche
A good daily driver that is fun to drive. The 911 t was produced only for a few years as a true drivers enthusiast car. This car truly defines Porsches roots . light weight, manual 7 speed trans mission. Small turbos in the 3.0 means no turbo lag and just fun. Turbos kick in at 1500 to 1750 rpms. 0 to 60 3,6 a quarter mile speed is 11.18 not bad for a 370 hp and 310 torque car. The t has also rear wheel steering as an up grade and the touring seats not the 5k carbon fiber seats which are uncomfortable. The carbon fiber seats are a 5k upgrade. the chassis is upgraded from the Carrera s it has a stiffer suspension from the gts, its windows for lighter weight are from the gt3 . I own a lotus gt and an a Aston martin DB11. The Porsche doesn't handle as well as the lotus or the comfort and power of the Aston but its a fun daily driver. Porsche are the swiss army knife of sport cars it is there not as a supercar but does what it supposed to do. Porsche is also one of the top cars for reliability. for the same price you can get a used Ferrari California but you may not have the reliability of the Porsche. If you are looking for a driving enthusiast car rather than computer driven then buy this car. You can push this car everyday and put a smile on your face. My daughter and wife always are amazed at the amount of products that fit in the bonnet from C Costco or Sams Club

Extraordinary supercar achievement
My car is blindingly fast, has unbeatable handling and braking and the build quality is spectacular. The reliability factor of Porsches is unequalled and the result of superior engineering. The car is light and nimble, sure footed and takes curves like it is on tracks. And by the way, the car is luxurious and a pleasure to drive. Strangers “high five” the car as I drive by and I’ve had so many people stop to compliment the special Carmine Red color. The Burmeister sound system is stunning and far superior to even the best Bose system.

Amazingly Practical Sportscar
Pros: Excellent handling, fun to drive fast or slow, capable of >30mpg (if you know how), 7S manual trans., very good visibility, classic good looks, excellent accommodations for driver's from 5 ft. 4 in. to 6 ft. 5 in. Cons Windows freeze up too easily in freezing weather, occasional false negative engine fault warnings and other PCM errors (may be due to the battery voltage), significant battery drain whenever the car is not running. I have a 2019 Carrera T and it is a serious sportscar. Why people at Porsche AG think it needs an upshift indicator on the dash I have no idea. Easy enough to ignore, of course! After 5 2/3 years of ownership, I sold this 911. Another plus: high resale value!
