1999 Pontiac Grand Prix GTP 4dr Sedan

I just can't express my disdain for
Christian's review (Edmund's editor).
He obviously has a terrible impression
of this car and has obviously been
presented with a bad example. Maybe
Edmund's was provided with a "tester's"
example that had been flogged first by
more "prestigious publications".

I have not seen a Grand Prix that
displays bad build quality, materials
or design. The fit and finish are of
great quality.

"Harsh and un-refined"...
The Grand Prix does indeed excite the
senses. Everything from the sound of
the engine, the firm yet supple ride
and tactile feel of the controls - are
all unique and appealing.

Best Features

Gorgeous looks. Tight chassis. Smooth ride. Awesome handling. Great BOSE stereo system. Heads-up display. Great brakes. GM's electronic gadgets showcase. World-class automatic transmission. And finally the Supercharged engine, voted ten best by JD Power, powerful and without apology.

Worst Features

Admittedly, the leather seats are made from "budget" grade material, but are still very well executed and very comfortable. For the price point, the GTP is an extraordinary value for the discerning driver.
