the review
I think that the Grand Prix is a great car. Its very reliable and has alot of power.
Good car
I love this car. I have had it almost a year and never had any trobles. I have the GTP package. So the leather and the sunroof are a big bonus.
Mixed Bag
Bought this car new in '94 as my first car and still driving it. The GP is a good choice for someone who wants a Mustang kind of car but needs something more practical. Though the GP is not a "true" sports car, its sporty enough for most people who are willing to trade off tire burning rear wheel drive muscle car performance for a car that performs not as good as a Mustang or Camaro but still pretty fast, does well in snow and has a useable back seat and trunk. That said, build quality on these cars is TERRIBLE.

Very comfortable car. Nice highway driving. Gas mileage is not the best, but not outragouse for a 6 cyl in a car of this weight. Had to replace the "low profile" headlamps serval times. They cost over $30 each! I want to know who retired early on that design! Terrible quality. Exhaust manifold had to be replace in the first six months!
Been a very good car overall
Owned since new. Overall this car has been without any serious or major problems. It now has 200,000 miles and it has trany issues (x2). However, the engine still runs great. Great fuel mileage too. The interior is starting to show its age but even living up north the last ten years, the car has no rust. I am going to fix the trans and take my chances. Parts are everywhere for these cars. My only complaints, which seem to be wide spread, are that the cup holders are only good to put change in. The knobs for the air, etc., wear out easy and are 17 bucks+ apiece. And don't ever think you can change the battery out in a few minutes. Theft protection my butt, poor engineering.
