Used 1992 Oldsmobile Cutlass Supreme Consumer Reviews
Way BIGGER than expected problems
In 20 months and less than 20,000 miles: Under 60,000 original miles. Expensive brakework ($570) Window switches replaced twice on Driver's side ($400). Cheap plastic. O Ring and Transmission now needs replacing. ($3,000?) Numerous stalling episodes. Still owe $4,000 on this car. Malfunctioning engine light goes on erroneously. Sensor problem. Huge turning space required. No passenger airbag or rear defrost. The car looks, feels terrific. Extremely comfortable to sit in and drive. A mechanics delight. Could own a mercedes for the repair bills. To a prospective buyer: BEWARE of Evil dogs that will bite U over and over.
223,000 Miles + and still purring
I love my Cutlass! After over 223,000 miles it still rides like a new car. It rides like new because of regular and proper maintenance. There is no rust anywhere, the engine burns no oil, the transmission works perfectly and everything works just like it did when it rolled out of the factory. The single minor blemish is that the brakes need a little more maintenance than other cars. I usually keep the trip odometer on instead of the regular odometer and people are always surprised to see how many miles it has on it.

1991 Cutlass Supreme 4-dr
Runs great. Has 134,000 miles but runs like new. Had no major problems except had to replace the computer. I keep up on oil changes. Well maintained. Bought it with 109,000 miles. Previous owner changed oil every 3,000 miles. Peppy (3.1liter)car. Good second car. Room for 2 middle school kids and wife. Converted the air conditioning to the new standards. Easy change. Pumps out the cold pretty good.
Still Runs Like New
I inherited this car from my parents in 1996. It has 262,000 miles on it and still runs like new. As long as you do regular maintenance (oil changes, tune ups, tires etc) this car will take car of you.
