Used 2007 Nissan Versa Consumer Reviews
Versa 1.8SL CVT
Vehicle is well designed for a car this size. Drives well and is peppy on a road. Handles turns well. Fuel economy is decent but is not at par with the Nissan's estimate of 36 miles/gallon. The best I got so far is 31 mi/g, but the car only has 1500 miles on it so far. Was told it will improve with time. Very comfortable to drive long distance. Sunroom does not make much noise when driving, unlike Murano. Do not waste your money on a Rockford Fosgate upgrade, it has no range on Bass and the sound on a regular stereo is decent. CVT is flawless!
Good Car
Good car but Nissan has dropped the ball on their Quality control. Car had serious airbag defect upon delivery took almost 2 months to have it repaired. In the meantime, front end alignment was out. Dealer had to get specs from Nissan before they could repair. When it rains keep your windows closed while driving or you'll getr a shower. Roof gutters allow rain to come in. And side vents aren't available yet. TPMS seems to be the biggest problem with this vehicle. All else is good. Have been getting anywhere from 32-36 MPG driving w/9600+ miles on vehicle. Ride is good. Arm rest is too far to the rear and tiny. Just holds a small bag of peanuts.

Versa versus others
We spent quite a bit of time looking over the Toyota Corolla, and the Honda Civic. What impressed us most about the Versa was the smooth ride, quality, price, and the roominess. It had the others beat hands down. Having had the Versa for about a year, we are very happy owners of this delightful car. It is a fun car to drive.
My second review
Okay, so it's been a little less than a year since my first review and I felt like giving an update. I get 27 mpg with mixed driving and some hard accelerating and I get 35 mpg with a light foot. The steering wheel's lowest setting is too high for my liking and the material is really slippery; it makes it hard to turn with one hand. There isn't a lot of leg room in the driver's seat for me. I have 90k on it and not one problem. Am I still happy with my Versa? Yes, even with these drawbacks, I still like my Versa a lot. I get great MPG and despite the leg room, it is very comfy. I get great use out of the hatch and the folding rear seats. Also, you can't beat the price of it.
great Car
I have had the versa for 45 days. I love the way it drives its so quite and I love the cvt transmission. Traded my Honda Pilot to save money don't miss it much the Versa is a great car I would recommend it to anyone. So far I'm getting 28-29 mpg combined city & HWY, not as good as I expected but it only has 500 miles maybe it will get better mileage once its broken in. The keyless entry and bluetooth are worth the extra money. Great Car and very economical.
