Just like Edmunds said!
I bought a Titan last weekend and I'm very happy. I've only encounter one minor design flaw which has to do with the shape of the window that allows rain or dew to drip into the cabin even if the window is barely cracked open. This problem with time will damage the door switches and/or the door itself. Easy to fix however by installing wind/rain deflectors. Bought the truck based solely on Edmunds reviews...didn't even take it for a test drive.Great job doing evaluations that help us, the consumers.
basic work truck
Haven't had it long, but quality lives up to my expectations. It's great looking and fun to drive. Gas mileage is not great, but better than most trucks its size.

Close to Perfect Truck
Simply stated, the Titan towers above the others. I have never owned a Japanese car. I have driven Chevy and Ford trucks for decades. I qualify for the Ford A-plan, which would have made an F-150 thousands less. The Titan has more power, better fuel economy, more room, nicer styling, better comfort, and more functionality than all of the competition. My prior truck, an F-150 V-6, would average about 14 MPG regardless of where I drove. I just returned from a 500 mile weekend trip with plenty of foothills, stop-and-go, and freeway driving; 3/4 tank for the whole trip with 18.55 MPG... WOW! I did a lot of research before buying. I believe the Titan is the most well- tought-out truck ever built!
Close, but not quite
Only a year later and I'm seeing lots of rust in the bed seams and in some of the bed bolts. Also, significant corrosion of some trim pieces. Lots of squeaks that the dealership has been very helpful to fix...but it is a major pain to keep on returning to the dealership for these kinds of repairs. Seats are not that comforatable.
2006 Titan
Very pleased with the purchase of my 2006 titan. This vehicle is a pleasure to drive. It is apparent a lot of thought and research went into the design of the this functional as well as pratical vehicle. I am not equally as pleased with my servicing nissan dealership. I hope R Nissan located in Edgewood Maryland is an exception to all other dealership.
