Very disappointed
The price online is not the real price. Once you get there and start filling out paper they spring on you extra fees that have nothing to do with you, of course I am not talking about taxes and registration fees which is normal.
Good car for the money.
I have leased three Nissan Sentra SR's. 2013, 2015 and this 2018. All were made in Mexico.I bought out the lease of this car in Nov. 2021 with 30,000 miles. All three have had the premium package. All three have been good cars, with few problems. Granted the first two were turned in to Nissan with less than 36,000 miles. I take care of my cars but really nothing out of the ordinary has happened. My current 2018 did require a new battery at 3 yrs. That was premature, but I live in florida and heat kills a battery. Pluses are - nice styling, good fit and finish, great gas mileage (40+ highway running air conditioner), quiet, smooth ride, large interior and trunk, doesn't break. Negatives are - small gas tank, squeaky rear brakes (all three vehicles), possible CVT transmission issues. I was part of a class action suit regarding CVT failures. Nissan extended an 8 yr, 80,000 warranty to me as compensation. It's important to follow Nissan's recommended transmission fluid changes to prolong transmission life. I just had my fluid and external paper filter replaced at 45,000 miles to avoid future failures. Be sure to replace the filter. Three dealers stated it didn't have a filter, it does. I'd buy or lease another one.

Nice used car. Seems reliable.
Bought a 2018 Sentra SV with 22k mi in March of '21. Has more room than the 2000 Civic I had. Not a bad riding car either. Could use a little more ooomph on the engine. In the 3.5 yrs of ownership the only high cost repair item was an electronic sensor. Everything else is regular maintenance. No issues with the transmission. Just perform the maintenance.

Do yourself a favor and buy a ford.
I knew I should’ve got a ford but went with a used 2018 Nissan Sentra SV and it did have high mileage around 90k. It hasn’t even reached 20k miles and the transmission is slipping! There should be a recall and new transmission replaced for free. I still have car loan and they want almost $6,000 to fix it when the car is only worth around $9,000 if that since you can’t drive it. I will never purchase another Nissan and I’ll let everyone know the problems. My brother also got a Nissan truck and it has already broke. Whatever you do don’t buy a Nissan!!
