Great for SHORT drivers!
Just got my new Sentra, but it's my first new car ever, so my opinion may be biased in that it's such a giant improvement over the last car I was driving. Although that was a Nissan as well & was still going strong with 186,000 miles on it. I love the new Sentra, much roomier than previous generations. The trunk is huge & the 60/40 is great for surfboards or snowboards. The ride is smooth & quiet. I just got the standard S model, but it pretty much has everything I need. Also I'm very short, 4'9" and I love the height adjustment (see below). Overall just a great car.
Junk car
Bought this car in 2007. There are a lot of problems and troubles including transmission(replaced, but new one is still noisy ), brakes(fixes with my own cost), screws loose and battery is almost died. I sent this car to dealer several times,(more than 8 times), each time took at least 3-4 days. Only one time took 2 days but did nothing. Don't buy this car, go to Honda or corolla, or others. I sent feedback to the dealer service center and came again to fix my car, they gave me different face.

Very reliable
I purchased a 2007 Nissan Sentra brand new and owned it proudly for 10 years. It was a very reliable car, which I had driven just over 144,000 miles. The only time my car left me stranded was when the battery died (which happened twice in 10 years.) I would still be driving this car today, however it was totaled last week, when I was hit from behind on the freeway. Thankfully, my injuries were minor. The car did a great job protecting me.

Great Car!
My wife absolutely loves the car and wants one for herself. I went from a Toyota saris to the Sentra for the extra room and comfort. The gas mileage is great and has been fun to drive.
Never had an issue
I bought my 2007 Nissan Sentra in September of 2011 with 42k on it. I didn't own it long, only until January of 2013. I drive a lot for work, and in the short time I owned it I went from 42K to 69k. So about 27k in about 1 1/2 year. I never brought this car in for anything besides oil changes. Not one issue. I replaced the tires once, if that counts. As I said I didn't own it long, but I drove it a lot and never had one remote issue or sore feeling. The only reason I got rid of it is that I got a new job, so upgraded to a Volvo S80. Must say, sometimes I miss my little reliable gas sipping Sentra. Definitely consider this vehicle, have a mechanic check it over first, of course.
