2k5 Nissan Sentra SE-R Spec V

I purchased the car after going through hell with a 2k3 Mazda Protege5. Had the protege5 4 months & visited Mazda 9 times within that time period. Anyway I will have owned the SE-R for 3 weeks on Monday (7/4/05) and have put 2250 miles on it already. Nissan has addressed all issues with car since 2k2 and 2k5 SE-R is very refined and a great improvement over early models. QR25DE engine is very responsive, powerful, quiet yet very refined. Skyline seats are firm but comfortable. Exterior looks good with nice wheels and kit. Interior fit and finish is excellent and materials look and feel of high quality but collects way 2 much dust. Handles and rides sporty.

Even tho I bought my Spec V with a lot of miles on it, it still runs real good. It's a champ on the streets. It's a sleeper car stock and a beast with mods. I love driving it and seeing the looks on peoples faces when I fly past them in their V6s. Great toy to have.

The Potent SE-R Spec V

I have been driving this car since the end of June and I enjoy every chance I have to drive the Sentra SE-R Spec V. The potent QR25DE motor, helical limited-slip differential, close-ratio 6-speed, Z-rated tires, and front strut tower bar keep this car glued down around every corner and lane change you need to make. Acceleration is a deffenite surprise for the 175hp and 180lbs.ft., pulling onto new roads is done with ease while experiencing the fun of a close-ratio 6-speed that features dual-synchros for hitting perfect 1-2 gear shifts.

Proud owner for a little more than a year (24k miles). This car is a great car. Instant engine response and acceleration. Fast car that bites off the line for a non-turbo charged car. Feels extremely secure and no rattles with very little body roll in tight curves. Awesome summer driver but strongly recommend winter tires for winter driving and get ABS brakes/side airbags if you buy this car. Build quality is definitely Nissan and would definitely buy the next model :) Stock radio is above avg at 7 speakers but don't bother with the fosgate package (go aftermarket)..

I used the internet to compare cars along with Comsumer Report. I bought my Sentra after 3 months of research led me to believe it was the car for me. I drive in town and on the highway and it does great in both modes. I am not a speedster so a small 4 cylindar car with high MPG is what I was looking for. The price was great too. So far it has performed as I thought it would. I have driven both Toyotas and Mazdas in the past but they are both getting a bit pricey for what I need a car to do. I would buy it again, no doubt.
