Great for the price
I've had this car for almost a year, and I do not regret buying it. It handles amazingly well, and I keep pushing it further and further with no complaints back. The car is great for the price.
Fun in the Sun
This will probably be my last new car purchase and wanted something fun to drive, preferably a stick, with a good sound system, moon roof and a color that won't get lost in a parking lot with all the other white, black, silver and red cars! Had SpecV a month and love the acceleration, gas mileage and sporty look and feel. Was disappointed to have a single CD player only option available . . . wanted to put a load in the system and cruise. Bottom line: for the money, a lotta car!

The Potent SE-R Spec V
I have been driving this car since the end of June and I enjoy every chance I have to drive the Sentra SE-R Spec V. The potent QR25DE motor, helical limited-slip differential, close-ratio 6-speed, Z-rated tires, and front strut tower bar keep this car glued down around every corner and lane change you need to make. Acceleration is a deffenite surprise for the 175hp and 180lbs.ft., pulling onto new roads is done with ease while experiencing the fun of a close-ratio 6-speed that features dual-synchros for hitting perfect 1-2 gear shifts.
Lotta performance, little $$
This is my top pick for $20,000 and under sport compacts. I purchased my Spec V in Mar. '04, and I still love driving it more than ever! My favorite part is the extremely competent handling and torque. The car has excellent power to weight ratio. 6sp. manual has great ratios but has trouble finding 5th gear alot. styling is a bit econocar on steriods, but the driver doesn't mind.
Surprisingly ...Great!
I originally wanted the reliability that comes with buying a Honda...but the prices were outrageous! I went for a test drive in the Spec V and was blown away; excellent acceleration, planted feel, convenience of a sedan while offering handling like a coupe sports car. I love the Nissan brand now and recommend Nissans to all my friends! I've had the car for one year and put 29000 worry-free and trouble-free miles on the car. The gas tank takes me about 300 miles +/- 50 miles depending on my driving style. It's agile, easy to park and easy to maintain myself. Acceleration is instantaneous and the interior feels like that of a more $$$ car. Very supportive
