My plain Jane Sentra is comfortable, fun to drive, always starts, gets good mileage, and is inexpensive to maintain. It has over 194,000 miles on it and has NEVER let me down. Talk about a car that "takes a lickin' and keeps on tickin'--this one can't be beat!
91 Sentra SE Coupe
I bought my 1991 Nissan Sentra SE Coupe when it was brand new. Ever since then, it has been running good. Except for little dents on the car, it is in very good shape.
first, best car
Affectionately named Spunky the Sentra. I absolutely love my car. I bought it @ 95,000 miles, and have had no serious problems with it. It has great throttle response, excellent shift feel, and is far and away the best thing for the money in the used market. Even @ 90MPH with the car COMPLETELY full of stuff, with a kayak on top, and A/C on, I still get 28 MPG. Great "sleeper" car... never been pulled over, surprises the heck out of Camaros and the like.
Best for a long, long time
Bought the base model new in April 1991 - only had radio and A/C added. Paid 8,000 and drove it for 234,000 miles before selling it. At time of sale, engine still was at factory compression specs. That thing should run forever. Plenty of power, very comfortable, incredibly reliable.
Best Mileage, Reliability
Owned the vehicle since '91. Always performed required regular maint. Only replaced two fuel injectors, starter, fuel pump, belts, hoses. Nothing out of the ordinary and still get 30 mpg overall. Great job Nissan...
