What you can get in a SV FOR UNDER $25k you will pay $30k in most other similar vehicles. For instance if you want keyless ignition in your vehicle Rogue is under $25k. Ford & Chevy start at $30k. Dollar for dollar it's hard to beat the Rogue.

Good car if did not vibrate
I can live with many things that are not as I want them to be. This car looks great, but vibration while accelerate that I can feel on the steering wheel and the gas pedal isl at unacceptable level. Dealer and Nissan does not have a solution and only thing they want to do is for you to leave the service department quietly. It is as bad as the CRV problem and makes your every day commute very stressful.

Dont be fooled by its great look!
My story of a 2015 nissan Rogue with less then 7 thousand miles on it. Less then a year old.... This past Saturday i got into my car to go out and started the car, buckled up as usual, put my foot on the break, and when i tried to release the gearshift out of park and into reverse so that i could pull out of my parking space, the whole thing came clean off right in my [non-permissible content removed] hand.... I was in such shock that i just sat there holding it and staring for a moment. I honestly wasnt sure weather to get angry or laugh because it was one of those few moments in life that are THAT [non-permissible content removed] stupid. lol. I thought maybe if i put the gearshift back on to the pole that it sits on, that maybe i could get it to sort of click back down on there just enough that i could operate the car so that i could drive it down to the nissan service center and drop it off there to get fixed but NOPE!! Once i placed it back on, it perm. STAYED locked and EVEN WORSE was now stuck in park! So things were just going from bad to worse moment by moment here. I then call the nissan service center while im sitting in my car to tell them what was going on and i get someone telling me that they "have never heard of this kind of thing happening before" and that "something like that should never ever been happening" and then wanted me to bring the car to them so that they could "figure out what happened, investigate more, and fix it". I then told him that the car would not allow me to shift into even neutral, so he then sent a flat bed tow truck out to my house where i then had to watch the car be DRAGGED WHILE IN PARK!! out of my parking space enough to pull it on to the truck while i stood there grinding my teeth because of how AWFUL and loud it sounds when you do something like that and HOPING it didnt [non-permissible content removed] something ELSE up as a result. This is AFTER i received TWO recalls in the mail for this car in the mail one about the air bags turning themselves off and the computer needing to be "reprogrammed" and the second being about the rear lift gate stays needing some sort of "treatment" because they are not protected against water or salt air and could rust and corrode to the point where the whole lift gate could just fall off. It is now tuesday and im still carless and havent heard a damn thing from nissan. To update this: i got my car back today, and although i was pleasantly surprised they washed my car and fixed all the issues explaining that the "clip or clamp inside the gearshift mechanism snapped somehow" and "just needed to be replaced" as well as both recalls having been fixed. I was a bit shocked by the look of my center console. It now looks like the people at the service center sort of hap-hazardly pulled everything apart in order to get under the plastic and like they used the wrong tools! If i wanted my car fixed down in TJ i would have crossed the border and let THEM pry my car apart with what looks like the wrong tools and leaving the re-assembled console looking sort of "loose". There are now these odd slashes and stab marks across where the gearshift cover is, and what looks like jabs from a flat head screwdriver along the seem of the console as well. Update: Its is now March 8th 2018 and the car has since not given me any problems. I had the entire center console replaced by Nissan and it looks like new! i had the tow truck driver that dragged the car on to his truck fired immediately, (not just for dragging) but also for taking a long flat head screw driver and trying to jam it into a small slot near the top of the gear box to try to force the car into neutral (which didnt WORK BTW). The has since performed great and im loving it. Update: it is now March 10th 2019, and have not had any major problems except for a cosmetic issue which im told will NOT go awa and WILL get worse. On the top of the car there is a long plastic strip that "clips in" to the roof (it is meant to cover the holes where you would have a roof rack installed if you wanted) I was told that because of the metal expanding and shrinking during temperature changes in the weather that the clips can come off and will NOT go back. So now i have one loose piece of long plastic on the top of my rogue that i cant really do anything about. I recently had the car serviced and asked them to either fix it or give me an estimate on how much it would cost and it was over 300 bucks! I may be able to take it somewhere else but i shouldnt have to because this car is UNDER 5 years old now. March 2020 review: Car is still performing and doing fine with on scheduled maintenance. No major hiccups, this car is used as a "soccer mom" style vehicle, shuffling kids to school everyday, errand running, etc. No major trips have been taken since it was bought, besides two trips to LA and back home to san diego right after a servicing and new tires.

Stevie Wonder approved!
Bought this Rogue brand new, and now it has 122k miles, owned since new and the cruise control has issues, works half the time, steering is popping all the time since new, took to stealership twice, they claimed was fixed, but it's worse. The CVT transmission is whining already and we've received a recall for transmission module claiming that reprogramming will remove transmission slippage, lol. Blind spots everywhere, you can't see while turning corners, camera aided backing is ok. The high front fenders and large mirrors block your view when cornering. The passenger side mirror is so distorted that you can't make any distance judgment in the reflection. Make sure you ride in back seat before buying, it's an extremely rough ride over the slightest bumps in city driving and loud road noise while hwy driving. The road noise in back seat area is extreme but milder in front seat. One of the most annoying things is the auto locks, you can program them in the Pathfinder to unlock when you put it in park, not so for the Rogue. The best thing about this car is that it is my wife's car. I only have to ride in it part time and when the transmission goes, she gets to pay for the car again.

SL Rogue 2015 2.5L
I do not know with new owner reviews. In order to received an excellent & great comments, Nissan dealers take note! Make sure that you give your customers a great experience during your sales. I must admit, I received the best sales experience from the Nissan dealer where I purchased my Nissan Rogue SL 2015. All the 4 - 5 star comments in this review section are all true. I use to drive 2010 Toyota Prius Hybrid (excellent car) and I gave it this to my daughter. I needed something bigger such as a SUV crossover. I did my homework and I decided to check out this new all design 2015 Nissan Rogue. As an SUV crossover, not bad at all for the fuel economy especially I used to drive a hybrid. I was able to take this car fuel average consumption 31.9 mpg for a short period of time then drop to between 29.4 - 31.4 mpg. Depend on how you drive. Like I said, I owned a Toyota Prius Hybrid for 5 years. This SUV crossover non hybrid has everything I need and fast enough for me already. It get's the job done!!!

Not like the others!
Love this car! Went from an 10 Inf M35X to this and glad I did. I know some hate the CVT but this CVT is much better than other cars. Honda has the best CVT and our MPG is around 31 Mixed highway and backroads.
My big mistake
I bought this car couple months ago, and it was my big mistake 1- The bumper is very weak, if you push the back bumper by hand it will move in deep. The front bumper clip taken of from the left side upper the headlight. 2- I heard noise and I opened the hood to see how the engine operate. I found the engine vibrating and shaking!! never seen new car engine like that before!! 3- The A/C stop working and it was a big issue because the dealer kept the car for 5 days to fix the A/C. 4- Its not gas economy at all, the average usage 22 mpg 5- When you open the door, the car body has a plastic edge, this edge is not strong. I expect this piece will fail and will looks bad later. I hate this car and I hated all Nissan, I tried to get out of the deal but I cant. I tried to trad it but because its a bad car I get $18000 and I paid about $25750!! MY BIG MISTAKE, THANK YOU NISSAN

soft ,quiet ride
Like to drive the2015 Nissan rouge. comfortable on long trips. Acceleration is good foe me (I don't have a lead foot) BEWARE when considering the rouge. The one problem I have is with the ECO. When in eco mode the a/c is non-existent after 20 minutes it drops down to very low regardless of what temp .setting. Dealer said this is normal. If you want the air to stay on you must take it out of eco mode. I found this did not work on my car. Can be very annoying on hot days. Too bad. Otherwise good value for the price. update.. 09/27/2016 After 3 visits to dealer a/c problem turned out to be a loose wire in the harness. Guess it depends on the dealer you purchase the car from and their service dept. I also found the outside mirrors to be small and you have to get used to them

Great little suv
I've had this Rogue for a week. I love the feel of driving a sedan with the safety of an awd suv. The steering is tight, acceleration is good and the ride is smooth. I took out an extended warranty to avoid any problems in the future.

Money pit!
Bought a 2015 certified used from toyota dealer for my daughter. They day she drove it home, the transmission failed. Discovered ZERO service on this vehicle. Got into a pissing match between Nissan and toyota. Toyota finally put new transmission in the car but didn't service the transaxel and charged us another $1800...a Nissan required service that they told them about. Then found out AAmco put in transmission. Drove car 3 days, horrible noise. Toyota refused to service...now outside their 30 days. Mind you car has been at AAmco for 3 weeks! Slammed toyota on google and they finally called and said to take to AAmco to find problem. They didn't secure a shroud of and I confirmed they did not service transaxel as Nissan told toyota was required when putting in new tranny. Drove care from aamco to Nissan...$700 more to service transaxel and had them do differential too. Drove care one month, now AWD is out. This car is HORRIBLE! CVT transmissions suck! Car has a lot of road noise. Neither Nissan or toyota want anything to do with it. Paid $12500 for this POS plus another $2500 out of pocket within 6 weeks, now this AWD and we just got a good if snow I'll never buy another Nissan...or toyota...EVER. I'll never buy a vehicle with a CVT.

Don't buy a Nissan Rogue !
Don't buy a Nissan Rogue! I made a mistake of buying one and a few years later it had a problem with an airbag. I went to a Nissan dealer and they told me that it's out of warranty and I had to pay $500 to fix it. I called Nissan Consumer Affairs and they told me the same thing. In my opinion, it's not a well made car if airbags go rogue in a few years and they make you pay to fix it.

Great Vehicle with one exception
I purchased this particular vehicle because I liked the combination of comfort and safety features at the price point and sold the vehicle this year because it was too small for us. The only other problem I would note is that one of the important new safety features, the (FCW) or Forward Collision Warning System, worked so poorly that it may as well not exist. I am slowly accepting the realization that I was duped and I have no FCW. Oh, the light turns on and off OK. You can push the proper button and the light comes on in the dash and you have this feeling that new technology will be at work if and when you need it. But no, it won't. When shopping I also test drove a 2015 Impala and the FCW operated much better. A red LED would flash when a car was too close in front and that got my attention. The Rogue may produce a quick and quiet beep and perhaps a very small light may briefly turn on the dash but neither of these triggers are sufficient to grab the drivers attention. This one feature certainly needs to be greatly improved. Short of that one feature, I have absolutely no issues with the rest of the vehicle. In fact, It may be the most comfortable vehicle I have ever driven or ridden in and you just cannot beat the BOSE audio system. Extremely good value for the $$$$$.

Best Rider, as Opposed to Driver. Recommended!
Bought used two months ago and here are my findings: First, if you’re using a vehicle for commuting (i.e. rush hour, daily freeway use) then this is the most comfortable/luxurious ride you’ll find. The seats are amazingly comfortable with no pains or aches after use, and the smoothness of the ride and steering is far better than the CR-V I tested (and I’m a long-time Honda fan). Reviews suggest the Mazda for “spirited driving”, but most of us are commuting and not on open miles of freeway without traffic, so “riding” is the key for this suv. I previously owned an Audi, and this interior and comfort is up there with that one, and only Cadillac was more comfortable, seating wise. Secondly, my experience (in contrast to some reviews) is that the gas mileage is good for an suv. I average 29-33 mpg in a 70-30% freeway to city commute. The key is to USE THE ECO option. Sure, accelerating the on-ramps is a drawback with the c v t, but you can get 35 mpg when using eco on the freeway. I have, and stress again that ECO is the key (any reviewers averaging 25 mpg are not using ECO). To wrap this review up, please note: Eco/sport buttons not in best location (low/out of sight to lower left of left knee); great gas mileage, most comfortable seats/smoothest ride, great storage options in back, radio antenna not the best (perhaps aftermarket upgrade needed to reduce some static - never had this problem on any other make of car), great looks. Key: Interior upscale along with ride. We mostly ride, not “drive”, so this is the suv for that.

Rogue an owners nightmare
There are many issues with the car and Nissan dealers on the whole are very inept at resolving issues. I have had my 2015 Rogue with 11000 miles in several times due to issues with the check engine light and the dealership cannot resolve the issue. I have spent several days going back and forth to the dealership trying to get the issue repaired with no success. Nissan technical support is non existent and has provided no support in fixing the car.

Technology appears to be the weakest point
This is a great family car. It is comfortable, spacious, economic, and safe. Its performance is consistent with its weight to power ratio. The entertainment and navigation technology leaves much to be desired. This is further aggravated by the slow reaction by Nissan and its suppliers to update firmware and keep smart phone apps current. The last Nissan Connect update for iPhone was released in December of 2014. It is not compatible with the iOS 9.0.1. Apple and Nissan must work on full Bluetooth interface that allows users to connect devices wirelessly, supporting streaming apps such as Pandora, I Heart Radio, Spotify, and others. Nissan's customer support cannot tell users when they will be able to connect updated iPhones to their vehicles.

Rogue Reviews
Love this car! I was able to go to Tim Dahle Nissan Motors at the Southtowne Center in Sandy, Utah. They gave me the best deal and got me the car that I liked. This car handles well. The technology package is a must and a plus! It is worth every penny of an investment. It's roomy and comfortable! I'm a happy customer and will be a dedicated Nissan customer with Tim Dahle Nissan!

OK car, but wouldn't by it again.
Have had my 2015 Rogue SL for 7 months now. It’s not a bad car, but I wouldn't buy it again, especially until some issues were resolved. Averaging only about 24.5 MPG, which is disappointing as I drive the turnpike to and from work for 70% of my miles - so it should be better. In the cargo area it seem things like groceries are always sliding around on the carpeted flooring, the adjustable storage configuration hasn't proved any use yet, the area below "floor" isn't deep enough to hold much of anything. It's been too small to hold folding chairs to take to kids sporting events. It would be better to just have a well and some non-skid material on the bottom. One of the biggest functional problems I have is with the power lift gate in the SL model. Put your gear in the trunk, press the button to close the gate, and hop in and start the car. If the lift gate hasn't finished closing, and it usually isn't because it's fairly slow, it will stop and not close any further. Additionally, the button to operate the power lift gate on the dashboard won't function anymore to complete closing the lift gate, or open it. It's stuck! And you have to get out and manually close it. Seems to defeat the purpose of having a power lift gate. Annoying when you forget to wait for it to close, which happens every week. Honda figured out how to make it work in 2010. I wish Nissan would address that, but they said it's designed to work that way. Really? They really need to do some research if they think their customers who will spend the money for a power lift gate think it should make you get out and close it manually. So don't pay up for that feature if that's big on your wish list.

REGRET of buying this Nissan
I bought a brand new 2015 Rogue SL AWD for my daily driver last year, and this is my biggest mistake! I should of do more researches before buying it. This car is the MOST POS ever. My suspension was bad after a couple thousand miles, the car made huge noise when the car is rolling. Now after just a year of ownership the car has vibration when I brake. The stitches on the seat are coming loose. I brought the car to dealer and they refused to cover the fix of the vibration problem because the problem is from the brake and rotor. This is unbelievable, because the car was serviced in the dealer every 5000 miles and they did not notice anything in their brake inspection. And now I have to replace the whole front brake set up (brakes and rotors) on my own. After the fix this car definitely has to go.

Average value for money and problems with family package
I have the SV with Premium and family Package. The car is okay. The Premium Package features are good - the around view camera makes parking so easy. The other features are also very good- infotainment system is also very user friendly, lots of space in the car and the back seats go down completely in case one needs to carry more stuff, the powered lift gate is very convenient and so on. I also have a couple of problems: the major one is adjustment of third row seat The strap mechanism can cause back pain and injuries if you have to use frequently. I have provided this feedback to both the dealer and Nissan but so far do not have any solution.
Worst Car in the World
The car tries to drive itself. So many automatic gadgets and sensors, you put the air on and the car decides what it wants to do. You put the defroster on, and the windows fog up more. AWD is a joke, the car "senses" whether you need it or not - I drove on the highway in 6" of snow and the car kept deciding I didn't need the AWD - and you can't override it. The car is not safe and it's annoying. There's an "automatic" setting for the headlights - they turn on and off if you go under some trees on a rainy day - how stupid! Why do I need that feature? If I put the headlights on, I want them ON! If I put the air conditioning on, I want it ON. Worst car I ever owned. I wish I could return it. UGH - DON'T buy this car!

This is a nice mid size SUV. Ok performance, really like storage, dual climate control, and heated seats. Felt this could have better drivability and gas mileage. However does give you a pretty good bang for your buck.. it is well-priced for what you get.

Worst car I have ever owned
My wife and I bought a 2015 Nissan Rogue SL AWD in July of 2015. Within the first week we had too take the car to the dealer for the brake warning light was on. Several months later my wife brought to my attention that the car was making a loud noise when backing up and turning. Again we took the car into the dealer. With this problem that ended up being the front struts and springs. We had this to the dealer four times before rectified. At this point I had made contact with the better business bureau due to amount of problems and was considering filling a claim under the Maryland lemon law. During the time of dealing with the front suspension we received a factory recall to replace a air bag switch in the passenger seat. Another notable problem with this vehicle is that it stated to have AWD. The AWD can only be locked on at speeds under 15 MPH. Once you gain speeds above 15 MPH the AWD kicks off and is suppose to kickin as needed. I have driven this vehicle in six inches of snow at 30 MPH and the AWD never engages. I am 62 years old and have owned many vehicles over the years, but by far this 2015 Nissan is the biggest piece of junk I have ever owned. Thomas F Seymour

Not happy with this SUV
I got my nissan rogue on March 2015, i was doing well with that car, until today when i brought my car for the 10000 miles maintenance. I was told that the front wheels need alignment. i was upset, because this is just 7 months and i never drove this car up on mountains or any rough road, i'm basically within city roads, so i was surprise to know that at a low mileage the alignment is not good anymore, and i am not using it for heavy loads, if it matters with those alignment problem. To add that it is only me driving this car, and i work 3 days a week only so the car is often in the parking. I trust that the quality and performance of this car is really good, so i was not expecting that. I then conclude that the quality of this car is ?, If at 10000 miles it is already not doing well, what kind of parts it has, how about at 60,000 miles, will this car still be working well? i think i'm starting to doubt and not to like this car, i was so upset and sad about this.

Nissan: Never Again
This car has a drainage/leak issue with sun roof. We have owned it just over two years and have had to bring it to dealer twice for leaking. The drains clog. It is parked right next to our 2008 Honda Odyssey and now problem with that vehicles sun roof. This past bill would have been $1800 as they are replacing the drains and the carpeting as the car now has a mold issue! Corporate has "offered" to pay part of it but this is an existing design issue and I believe they should pick all of it up. The dealer mentioned the first time that there is a clog issue with the drains. There is no way to clean them except to bring them to the dealer!!! Can not recommend Nissan as they do not stand by their product. Wait for the class action re: this issue. Save those receipts......

Is it my Rogue or is it my dealer’s service dept
I’ve had nothing but problems with my 2015 Rogue. The air conditioner hasn’t worked since I bought it. Every summer I take it in because the compressor goes off and on first blowing cold air and then just pulling hot air in from the outside. If that’s not bad enough, the Bluetooth only works when it wants to and there is no reason for it working or not. Again, I’ve taken it in only to pay $150 to have them tell me there is nothing wrong. Can’t wait to unload this lemon.

First and last Nissan Rogue ever
I have a 2015 Nissan Rogue SL, with all the safety features you could ask for in this line of crossovers. The car has a panoramic roof and is an AWD vehicle. I originally bought this car in July 2017 with 32,100 miles and decided to trust the brand (to which I was new). At the time of purchase at Nissan of Manchester Connecticut I opted to buy all the recommended warranties they provided (Gold extended warranty) and finance through Nissan itself. Mid 2019 I started noticing a musty smell after it rained and a few times we noticed the headliner was wet. As we kept using the car we noticed the car was accumulating water under the driver and passenger seats and there was water dripping down the front columns. We took the car to the dealership (now living in Houston Texas) and we had to pay over $350 to have the sunroof drainage unclogged. In November the car locks started acting up (locking and unlocking themselves while the right blinker light was activated, while the rear hatch was activated or the hazard lights came on). Again, I took it to the dealership and they charged me $340 to remove the aftermarket hitch I had installed to move my family across the country. Now at the beginning of 2020 the cars' locks started acting up again every time it rained (there is a clue there). I took the car again to the same dealership and under my awesome extended warranty they recalibrated the BCM (body control module), a second time it was replaced and multiple other times the new one was recalibrated. On my last visit to the dealership I was charged $540 for diagnosing water damage to the car. I have been at the dealership at least 5 times for the same problem (they credit the problem to water damage and told me my only option was to make a claim through my insurance), I have contacted Nissan consumer affairs (I was told the dealership declared it was the owners responsibility) and no help from the brand themselves. Long story short, I have payed enough money to service the car, fix the problem and expects good service to a loyal customer who bought the car from a Nissan dealership, bought all the extended warranties, services the car at the local dealership and is willing to keep the car if they treat my families car right. I would advice against the model with the panoramic sunroof because historically these cars have a problem with the drainage system and water will ultimately run into the interior and damage the electrical system. Of course it will be the owners fault for not paying $350 worth of preventive unclogging every 6 months as recommended by the service manager at Central Nissan of Houston, Tx.

Great Value
The original price for this comfortable, spacious, easy to drive SUV was under $25,000. I got 50,000 miles out of the first set of tires and brakes and I get 33-35 mpg on the highway. The only maintenance I have done is routine oil changes, so it might be the most economical car I have ever owned. I now have 96,000 miles on it and my total cost for running the car is about 50 cents a mile. Oh, and with a timing chain instead of a belt, there's another expense I don't have. Nice...
Never again Will Buy a Nissan
This was the first Nissan I ever owned and was purchased brand new. I like brand new because I have the certainty it has not been abused or neglected by a previous owner and that I'll have it in for scheduled maintenance. When purchasing this car, a main concern is the seat because of how much time we spend driving and taking care of my back due to lower back problems. I had read about the NASA-designed driver seat. The seat lives up to it's name as it is very comfortable and I don't experience back issues even when I've taken the car on long trips. While I've always owned Honda and Toyota's, plus a Ford, the comparable Honda CRV seat was already hurting my back in the short time I sat in it. Test drove Mazda as well. For the upscale finishes, price, features, and the driver's seat, I was very happy with my Rogue purchase. While under the 36,000 mile warranty, I experienced auto window problems, struts, a pinging noise when I turned wheel all the way, and 4 times had it in for a/c not blowing at all, or blowing just hot air. Also, when at idling, I'd look over while the passenger seat was vibrating. While driving over a speed bump, in or out of driveways was embarrassing squeaking noises like I was in a car made in the 50's or 60's that badly needed grease or something. They did some type of replacement with the struts. All in all I had the car in 10 times before I hit the 36,000 mile mark so I figured if it didn't get fixed, I'd be covered under lemon law. Again, had more a/c problems periodically. Mysteriously, my cars a/c would come back working stating they couldn't find a problem, or even once telling me the cabin air filter wasn't installed and was on the passenger seat floor as if that was the issue. Guess because I'm a woman they think I'm gullible enough to believe that is why my a/c doesn't work? That was the one time it wasn't blowing at all and I simply took out the filter to see if anything was blocking the air flow. But no, having a missing filter does not cause it to blow hot air. Perhaps corporate Nissan doesn't support it's dealerships for warranty work? However, at 71,000 miles a/c doesn't work, I'm told it's out of freon. Well, where did it go... it doesn't just disappear. They swear they couldn't find a leak and had put dye in the system. I paid $180 to put in freon and guess what, it was empty a few weeks later blowing hot air. Then, they find a "hole" in condenser unit which must have been caused by a rock hitting it they stated. Cost would be $1,375. Despite previous issues throughout time I've had my car, they wouldn't correct it unless I had an extended warranty (which I did not). My car was in 7 times for air conditioning not working previously so it was at this point I got mad, and while I've never sued anyone in my life I was ready to go battle Nissan. Especially one of the days was 95 degrees, I was an hour and half from home with my disabled mother in the front seat (who had suffered a severe stroke previously), and I had to stop several times to get ice, water, and cool her down just to get her home into air conditioning. I always thought how under the circumstance of having a medically compromised loved one in my car was actually dangerous (even though you wouldn't think not having air conditioning could be dangerous). I went to an independent shop and he found three different holes, made the repairs and filled with freon for $800. Other minor problems is getting the "key not found" error. Luckily I never got stuck anywhere. It mostly happened at home so I would just grab the other fob. Note: This was not a battery issue. Weird things, like volume cranking up on radio full blast even though I wasn't touching volume control. I'm impressed with the Nissan paint job -- other cars showed more rock chips hitting my hood than the Nissan -- I guess I'm trying to point out the good. :) Corporate Nissan has honored the lemon law though and offered to buy it back and a pretty good price since my problems date all the way back to the 12,000 mile mark. The car has wasted a lot of my time over several years, dropping it off, picking it up, etc. since most issues that were eventually fixed required at least three visits to pinpoint the problem. This car would be a drain on me financially which I don't want to deal with. At this time it is pretty easy to sell a used car and get very good money for it, but I truly didn't want to pawn off this problem on some other person, so was ready to have an attorney handle it under lemon law if I needed to. As another note, my sister owns a 2015 Nissan Altima and had purchased an extended warranty (which I did not). She also had numerous problems with her a/c and has had the compressor replaced, then they said it was condenser unit, which was then replaced as well. It's too bad, because I was truly excited about my car when I purchased it. But I'm in my mid-50's and had this car to the dealership more than all other cars combined in the previous 30 years of car ownership. With what you spend on a car, I just don't need the headaches and won't be purchasing a Nissan ever again. Corporate Nissan handled my matter professionally and did not argue with the pages upon pages of service history, for that I give them a high rating for fairly offering to buy the car back at almost what I paid for it new. The Rogue did not ever leave me stranded, and I'll miss the vehicle for some sadistic reason. Too bad it wasn't built to higher standards.
Don’t listen to reviewers!
Got my Rogue last week and it’s really great! First thing I did was take it on the highway. It took of like a jet! No problem getting on and no problem getting around traffic. All around great car for highway travel. Inside is way above average in materials. Stereo is Awsome and doesn’t need to be “turned up to drown out the drone of the cvt” ! I wasn’t gonna even try it because of the reviews this company gave. DONT LISTEN TO THEM. If you drive it, you will buy it. It’s that good of a car. I drive 100 miles round trip for work and the gas mileage is great. 31 mpg highway! Course I don’t go 100 miles an hour. Cruise control set at 64 gets fantastic miles per gallon!! I would recommend this car !! 100%!!!

MPG has gotten better for the first 8000 miles not so good , foot parking brake always in way , wiper blades in winter snow, there is a code to stop wipes 1/2 way so you can lift off windshield but wife can not remember it ( make it simple ) and do not lose your car elect key for push button start even if you have a key to get in your rogue there is no place in the car for a key start or open rear hatch . I wish we still had her nissan cube but she needed awd and I am still happy with my 07 honda ody van !

This car will break down on you!!
I am a long time Nissan fan, have owned 3 new Nissan's in the past 8 years as well as one used Murano. My Murano had cvt transmission issues, I blamed myself for buying a used car and purchased a brand new rogue instead. My 2015 rogue has since had the same transmission issues, I can't be the only one that has had to replace the cvt transmission. I am told this won't effect my vehicles value and I should be satisfied as a customer that they replaced the transmission free of charge. I can not sell my car with a good conscious to some poor unwitting person and tell them that they are buying a good reliable car. Nissan won't buy it back, or meet me part way in any manner..... least to say I am currently seeking a new brand to pledge my loyalty and spend my money with.

Wife's 2015 Rogue S AWD w/CVT car
Good honest review. this vehicle seems to be a nice upgrade to our 2011 S AWD Rogue. However, it is too soon to honestly review reliability, value and the overall rating after 5 weeks. Performance in a new vehicle is always very good and we will see over time if it continues to perform

2015 Rogue SELECT
We had a Rogue Select as a rental for a week. The Select is the first generation Rogue that Nissan continued to produce alongside the 2nd generation for 2 years, so basically this review is about the 1st generation Rogue. The AWD system is great and I never felt like I was losing or about to lose traction. The acceleration is horrible. You have to keep it at 3,000 RPM or more for any decent acceleration and the engine complains the entire time. There's a lot of noise in the cabin, so much that it's hard to carry on a conversation whilst merging onto the freeway. When accelerating at low speeds, the CVT keeps the engine around 1,250-1,500 RPM and it feels like the engine is lugging and on the verge of stalling. It's noisy over bumps in the road and the gas mileage is horrible. The driver's seat could use more lumbar support. The stereo sounds great which is the only positive about the car. Overall, I hated it and I can't wait to get back home to my Escape.

Don't get if you drive in heavy traffic
I am not happy with the performance of this Rogue. I realize driving the CVT engine is different but seriously, it sounds like its going to take off but yet it doesn't. It's not safe to pass on a 2 lane road, or to dodge in and out of traffic - which I need to do in the DC area. It is extremely comfortable inside, lots of storage room and handles well. The dealer could never figure out why my radio won't get the same stations in the same area that my husband's 2013 Nissan Altima gets. I'm looking to trade it in on a Hyundai Tucson - both my son (2016) and daughter (2018) have one and the difference in the engine's performance is worth not having the same amount of cargo room.
