Love my Murano!
Smooth ride and is a beast in the New England snow! I have had this car for 3 years with no problems! I have the SL with soft leather, heated seats, panoramic moon roof, Navi with a nice big screen, Bose speakers and 360 camera. Amazing and good size for a mid size SUV! Fully loaded at a great price!

Overall it is a good deal. Fairly sporty, comfy, Bose speakers, low road noise. Had the distance pacing cruise replaced due to malfunction after a few thousand miles. The front A pillars can affect visibility more so when you look for vehicles coming from the sides. Got used to it. Mileage is not bad, mid 20's average.

2nd Murano 16 years later, even better, Love It!
Great Vehicle and I have driven several SUV's over the years including a Lexus G series. Emergency breaking saved me from an accident yesterday with the auto braking when everyone came to a panic stop. The SL is almost the top of the line and is very well-appointed inside and out and super comfortable. 260 hp v6, great winter driving. Nissan Rocks!

One of the last comfy cruisers on the market
Going to go in order of strengths, top to bottom: The seats are sublime, and some of the best across cars, period. Better bolstering than my turned-in non-sport-seat Alfa Romeo Giulia, and are as plush and comfy as a la-z-boy. Very strong lower-lumbar support and adjustment, but I do wish it had adjustable upper-lumbar as well. The magic seat design/foam carries to the rear as well, which are heated even at the SL level. Cupholders are in the rear seat pull-down, not up front attached to the console, sadly. Suspension tuning is FANTASTIC, although you'll feel the road imperfections a bit with the 20s. They barely enter your consciousness if you have the 18in wheels. Other than some mild engine roughness in certain acceleration scenarios, the noise/vibration/harshness of this thing is, I think, the best in this segment, even across luxury marques. It has more than adequate power, and frankly the CVT is better un-rushed. When you try to really get on it, it will "fake shift," and it just never feels quite right. If you drive it in a safe and prudent fashion it's smooth, uninterrupted power all the way to where you want it. I haven't had any visibility issues, however I'm 5'11. The BOSE system is not the best in clarity, but it will reproduce faithfully when cranked, and I couldn't get it to distort at higher levels. Looks are take-it-or-leave-it, but I like the sci-fi organic aesthetic. Paint quality seems decent, but it's early days. Lighting is above-average, and the auto-highbeam works well. The SL trimline is a huge value. Summary: if you need something to just absolutely eat miles, esp. on longer jaunts, you want this car. There hasn't been a long 5+ hour trip that's fatigued me yet, and I'm not a young guy.

Solid Choice
We're very happy to be leasing the 2020 Nissan Murano Platinum. There is little difference in monthly leasing costs across the Murano range, from S to SL to SV to Platinum, even though the "out the door" prices to purchase them differ greatly. We ended up with a Platinum Murano full of attractive features for about $30/month more than the stripped down SL or SV that was thought to be our "low cost" alternative. Key features for us: large cargo area, comfortable ride, convenient electronics, easy to master safety features (sonar, cameras, lane and speed controls); we're not looking for towing capacity, great acceleration or "sports car handling" in our SUV. For us, the new Murano is a significant upgrade over our previous leased vehicle (Infiniti QX50) for slightly less money per month.
Excellent SUV.
Very pleased with the styling and looks. Rear view side mirrors offer good rear and side visibility. Electronic package intuitive and easy to use. Good acceleration in traffic. Good safety features with lane detections and warning as well as automatic deaccelerations in auto mode. It is a relatively large vehicle that requires paying attention to maneuvering with the curvature of the roads although like the handling features. This is luxury SUV well worth the pricing.

EXTREMELY HIGH QUALITY
2020 Murano Platinum LTD Edition in gorgeous Pearl White. . It's my third Murano and I've never had an issue.(That says a lot) Every time I test drive something else thinking it's time to trade , I get back in my Murano for the drive home and it hits me " Why would I trade ? This is a far better vehicle than what I just test drove. It happens every time. It is much quieter in the cabin than in : Audi Q5, Q3, Highlander, Rav 4, Pilot, CRV , Telluride or Palisade , Any BMW I've ever driven Ford Edge or Expedition, GMC SUV's, etc It is probably the most reliable vehicle you can buy right now. They are virtually trouble free. Runs 900- 980 km per tank of gas (on Regular gas) . With V6 passing power . Oil changes are around $80 Canadian , Not $300 + like Audi or BMW Most Comfortable seats on the Planet No turbo's to cost you money Infotainment screen is elegantly integrated into the dash and not stuck on top like some giant drive in Movie Theatre Screen ..LoL, like most have gone with. God I hate those . Bose stereo is masterful Soft Ride on the bumps , Tracks straight and true on a Highway with no wandering, and corners nicely with 20'' Rims And I find that Most Nissan dealerships I have gone to always seem to provide top notch friendly service . I can't say the same for Honda , Lexus or Toyota anymore , My guess is, that Nissan is on the rise now while those other three are on their way down Honda hasn't made good vehicles since 1990 (My 1990 Prelude rocked) But that 1.5 Turbo that Honda has put in everything since 2016 is the worst motor ever engineered. Honda had a fantastic car in the Accord Coupe V6 and what do they do ?They quit making it. Toyota was doing fairly well until 2014 and has fallen off a cliff since in quality . Their Tech truly sucks forcing you to subscribe to their Apps just to have a map on your screen or to remotely Start your car. ??? Lexus : Well I wouldn't know , because at 6'2 and 240 lbs , Lexus does not now nor have they ever, made a vehicle that I could fit in well enough to drive , NOT One !!! Only things I'd improve on the Murano: 1- I'd make the steering a little sharper 2- Braking extremely hard under emergency situations needs to be drastically improved 3- Although this CVT does work extremely well and probably is the big reason for the fantastic fuel efficiency, I'd still love to see a dual clutch transmission like the Audi Q5 has. I see the new Pathfinder is no longer using a CVT , so I hope the new Murano will go the same route . Love My Murano's

Saved my life
Had the truck For about 18 months then someone decided to t-bone me at 60 mph. Walked out with only 4 cracked ribs and that was only because my side hit the console. Buying a 2020 murano to replace it. Drives like a car and got 34.6 mpg on a 280 mile open road trip. Thanks Nissan!

It makes my wife happy
At the moment there are not too many 2021 Nissan Murano's since orders for them have been delayed by the computer chip shortage. So when my wife who had been interested in a 2021 Murano Platinum found out that there was one at Modern Nissan in Hickory North Carolina she was excited. We drove down on a Sunday but the dealership was closed. It was Wednesday before we got the opportunity to go back. Luckily it was still there. It was even the color that she was wanting, arctic white with black leather interior. I could tell from her joy as soon as she got behind the wheel for the test drive that we were going to buy it. The interior is as luxurious and any luxury car. The Bose sound system has a big clean sound with a generous amount of base. The panoramic sunroof lights up the inside wonderfully. On the highway the engine has a decent rumble from the dual exhaust. I probably should leave this part out, but the front emergency braking and the lane departure and mitigation sure makes me feel a lot safer riding with her. Its not a bad looking vehicle. Plus the Nissan fit and finish is excellent. There is plenty of storage space to accommodate her antiquing and enough zip to get her home quickly. It really doesn't matter about the small details if it makes you happy and this car does that. So anyone who says it's hard to see out of or it needs a V8 just remember. None of that matters if it makes you happy.
Very good car.
Very comfortable and pleasant to drive. Excellent finish.

Better Than ANY Honda I've Ever Owned!
A 2021 Murano is actually the first Nissan vehicle I have had the pleasure of owning. It definitely has the most comfortable and supportive driver's seat I've had in any vehicle. It's the first vehicle that I actually find the rear seats more than comfortable and more than enough space for a 700km plus drive. I consistently get BETTER fuel economy than the EPA estimates on this vehicle. On the highway I usually average 8.2L/100 km. I actually tried a 700 km trip with the cruise set on 100 KPH I actually achieved a fuel economy of 7L/100 KPH for the entire trip. For a 6 cylinder vehicle of the size and weight of the Murano with no turbo, hybrid, cylinder deactivation, etc. that you see on many other vehicles I would say I'm totally impressed! My vehicle has the 20" rim option which offers a stiff and responsive ride. However I do have winter tires mounted on 18" Nissan rims and I do prefer the smoother ride especially during city driving. The safety features on this vehicle are way beyond anything I've had on another brand of vehicle. The 360 degree surround view, lane departure, collision avoidance, back up monitor, sonar vehicle and pedestrian feature, along with the blind spot monitoring, and adaptive cruise control I would put up against any other domestic vehicle manufacturer out there. If I ever were to look at another vehicle without the above safety features it would be a deal breaker for me. Another interesting feature that I enjoy is a heated steering wheel. I thought it was a novelty until I used it, on the Murano it actually heats the entire steering wheel. Like many vehicles out there the outside esthetics and appearance is a matter of personal taste. For me I find the Murano to have a unique appearance with excellent fit and finish and a touch of chrome trim to add a little more character. When you see the vehicle it definitely stands out in the crowd and it doesn't look like another "cookie cutter" version vehicle that many manufacturers have today. To date I have logged 42,000+ kms of worry free driving I have had only the prescribed oil changes and inspections as prescribed by Nissan. Only the test of time will tell the reliability and durability of this vehicle. So far I would definitely give this vehicle a 5 star rating and I am 100% satisfied with this vehicle.

Great value for a midsize SUV.
I had my 2013 Murano for over 10 years. It needed some work done when it took it in recently and I decided to take a look at some certified used 2020 Muranos. I found a beautiful deep pearl blue (which I thought I would never buy) 2020 SL. The car has everything in it I would want. The safety features are excellent. The technology is also very good. The infotainment screen is only 8 inches but is fine for me . AppleCarplay works really well. It has the panoramic sunroof and also heated seats in the front and also the rear. Plenty of cubbies to put things and also at least 2 or 3 USB ports. Overall, the power with the 6 cylinder engine and the CVT is fine. The seats are extremely comfortable as they were in my 2013. It’s a great road trip car. Highly recommend.

Has 13k miles and gear shift assembly tore up!!
Drove home and 2020 murano would NOT go in park or reverse! We have a warranty that covers towing. Long story short we had no assistance locally at dealer or with the towing number!! Ridiculous!! Besides no tow this car should not be torn up at 13k miles!! The mechanic at nissian said it has to have a all new gear assembly! Now I don't trust this car to drive out of town!!! There should be a super easy emergency towing number without a computer also!!! I won't buy another nissan of the one I have had to be repaired at 13k miles!!!!! I am not al all satisfied!!!
Excellent vehicle
For me, the most satisfying vehicle I have owned. Roomy, great ride and fuel efficient. It's my second Murano. Could not be happier with my purchase. Highway driving at 70 to 75 MPH I'm getting over 30 MPG. Up to 24,000 miles now. No issues. Vehicle has been very reliable and satisfying. . Most underrated SUV on the market. Excellent vehicle.

I love driving my wife car, in the city.
I bought my wife a brand new Murano platinum SUV based on the fact that she felt comfortable in the vehicle and it is safe. When we are together I am assigned driver. We are both old. I own 2016 Lexus RX 450h with all the safety features on it. On the road I prefer to drive my Lexus. In the city I definitely prefer to drive the Murano. It feels more solid and it drives like a sport sedan compared to what I call my Lexus a very dependable and comfortable Cadillac. The Murano feels constricting to me on long distances ; I way 230 pounds. So my wife loves it every where and I love driving the Murano in the city but not on very long trips. Regardless the Murano is quite dependable and she and I have no criticism of it at all. Dependable car. Excellent driving feel. Still no mechanical issues. Driven few miles per year. The odometer reads 28,567 miles only but as I said earlier my wife drives to church and the library and on rare occasions we take a trip in it. I recommend this vehicle.

Love this car!
Have had this car for a year now & absolutely love it . Its sporty & functional and perfect for my family.
What an Incredible Car
This is our second Nissan Murano. We had a 2013 Metallic Gray Nissan Murano Platinum model and traded it in at 72K for a 2020 Metallic Gray Murano Platinum model. While I thought the 2013 Murano was a great vehicle, the 2020 Nissan has exceeded my expectations and continues to provide a great deal of trust in the Nissan badge. The ride is quiet and comfortable and we have had no issues with the vehicle since purchase. The vehicle is truly a joy to drive!

This is the second Murano I have owned. I have driven other brands but the looks and feel of the car surpasses them all. It is so luxurious! It easily rivals the much more expensive luxury cars. The very comfortable interior provides ample room, even for 3 adults in the back seat. The ride is smooth and easy to drive. I love my new Murano!

Now we have twins
On my retirement day in 2015 I traded in a 2013 Honda Accord Coupe that I was not happy with and most of my past cars have been either sporty or performance so everyone questioned why I bought an SUV. I figured in retirement the word ‘travel’ comes to mind and with a wife and dog an SUV seemed logical. In 7 years and 80+K miles, not a single problem. Fast forward to 2020 we now had the Murano (wife) and I had an Infiniti Q60 Red Sport (in Red) with every option. After the Q60 needed a new wiring harness, new battery, safety equipment failing in the rain with little help from the dealership….it was time for the little Red Rocket to go away. So I wanted something with a good track record….duh. Dumped the Infiniti…bought another Murano. I gave the dealership two color schemes and they happen to get the identical as the 2015…so we have twins. Both are wonderful. The comfort of the 2020 seems to have been improved, 20” wheels are smooth and quiet and ya gotta love the panoramic moonroof. Update July 15, 2004. Our 2015 Murano is nearing 100,000 miles and has only required standard maintenance except for a clogged moonroof drain…not bad. Our 2020 is only coming up on 25,000 miles and the only ‘quirk’ has been the radio volume not responding knob correctly. It’s just finicky, not a situation that requires repair. Otherwise, very satisfied.

Still like new !
I only have 18,000 miles on it and I use it mainly for 8 months of the year and that's it. I have studded tires all the way around for emergency use and I use a 4 wheel drive truck with studs in the winter because of the magnesium chloride and the high concentration of rusted out vehicles in this county. It has ran perfect with absolutely 0 problems. UPDATE: This car is everything I'd wish for and more. I actually get 30 plus miles per gallon on the highway. We use it mainly for road trips. It's a pleasure to drive and great seats. In my opinion, it was the first futuristic car out there. Now Lexus, Hyundai and Kia and many others are almost a dead copy of this vehicle.

Stylish and Sporty
I leased this car because of my previous purchases with Nissan and their durability and reliability. This Murano was no different, no mechanical issues. Interior is roomy and very comfortable. I really enjoy the infotainment system which I haven't seen any car to beat it. From the backup camera to the phone system. They have really thought of what you would want in a car. I especially like that when you have multiple phones attached, you can 'favorite' a phone so that it will grab that one first. Also, the memory seats are cool too. The only drawbacks I would say, is for that size of car, it could have been more speakers to give it a more surround sound and the bulkiness of the front of the vehicle causes one to drive a little slower to make sure I'm not too close to the other cars.

Everything I ever wanted in a SUV
I love driving my Murano SV. With all the special features I feel safe and at ease. The panoramic moon-roof is a must have for night cruising. The seating is very stylish and the heated seats and auto start features are the best along with the key-less ignition. Also the vehicle uses regular gas so the bang for the buck makes it a worthwhile investment. It is easy to drive and has great acceleration with no drag.

Great but needs improvement
I purchased a 2021 Murano SL in dark metallic pearl blue. Has moonroof, 20” graphite rims, and additional lighting package. Very sporty looking crossover. Fun to drive with plenty of power. The drawbacks are in the cameras and display. The 360 cameras are of the lowest quality and blurry. The center touch display hasn’t been updated in years and it shows. For the price tag I would have expected better quality there but still a nice crossover.
Doesn't get any worse than a Murano
Update: Nissan quality is slipping. This Murano has visited the shop more often than the other two. I notice more road noise and the fit and finish is not up to par. I’ll always love the seats and the engine but sadly I’m parting ways with this Murano. My third Murano, fifth Nissan, and my LAST Nissan.

Love our Murano!
This is our second Murano, had the first one 10 years, best car we ever had, great engine never used oil. Would still have it but we hit a deer and it was totaled, so we bought another Murano. Only Con, we found out after purchase that the towing had decreased to 1500 lbs. Our 2010 was 3500lbs.

Painmaker
Bought 2020 murano. The middle console was too big and allowed little movement for my knee . I did not notice after just test drive but a longer drive of 30 minutes. The vehicle also hard to keep straight was wobbling all over the road. The visibility was poor but outside looked sharp. Safety features awesome. Front seat for hiney comfy but I could not keep due to pain with my knee to drive. I think if console was smaller would have more movement for knee. Next time I plan to do a rental or overnight before buying
LOVE THE RIDE AND V-6 ENGINE
I really love this suv but I do wish they would go to a real wood look for the interior trim. I have owned 3 different year models of the Murano and I put a premium wood trim kit in each one that really adds class to this suv.
