Worst Crossover I Drove
This crossover was so disappointing that it is hard to describe. The handling was poor. The transmission shifted intermittently. The interior room was cramped. I drove multiple crossovers and was excited about this one until I drove it. It handled like an old pickup truck. I had driven the Infinity version in Yellowstone in 2009 and it was an annoying vehicle. This was more disapointing. If you want a vehicle in this class, buy a Ford Edge!

Love It
This is my third Murano. This is my favorite so far. Although I loved all of them. This is the most comfortable by far.

Over 5 years and 65,000+ miles - Going Strong
This was my first SUV in my 50 years of car buying.....coming from generally sports/performance cars. From the second I got in I absolutely loved this vehicle and now almost 5 years later...feel the same way. Being retired we have done some road trips that have been extremely comfortable while getting highway mpg's generally 30+. Last year I purchased a 2017 Infiniti Q60S Red Sport. It's been over 15 months since the purchase and I only have 8,200 miles on it. I love the Q60S but the practically and performance of the Murano really makes it our go to car for trips. Love them both..... UPDATE: Sold the Infiniti Q60S....bought a 2020 Murano.....now we have two!

Couldn't be happier with the purchase
Researched multiple mid-size SUVs and the Murano fit the bill for value, cargo space, mileage, performance, and comfort. Couldn't be happier with the purchase.

Disappointed
Car was great for the first 48,000 miles then the surround camera system stopped working. It’s a system you didn’t know you needed until you have it. Anyway, it cost nearly $2,000 to get it fixed. Naturally it wasn’t covered by the Nissan warranty. My rating in based on cost to repair/ownership.

Still love my 2015 Murano Platinum after 7 years
I bought my 2015 Nissan Murano Platinum new at the dealership, so I’ve had it a good 7 years, 71,000 miles. The color is Arctic Blue with black leather interior. This is my first Nissan and I am more than pleased with the vehicle. I previously had 2 Ford Explorers XLT. The Murano has a nice smooth ride and is quiet on the highway. I love the 20 inch tires! The seats are extremely comfortable and fit my 5’6” frame easily, plus there is lots of cabin height for a much taller person. Lots of rear leg room with air conditioning vents on the rear of the console, none on the ceiling, but don’t feel that is a necessity. I like the self closing trunk with push of a button. Both front seats are electric with many adjustments to make a comfortable ride. The silly little tray in the center console is annoying. What I don’t like are: 1) I hate the radio! It is substandard although there are Bose speakers, the sound is flat and terrible! Should have had an upgraded radio for the Platinum model. 2) There is a big blind spot to the left of the windshield while sitting at the drivers seat, it is wide and dangerous as I’ve barely missed hitting other cars (it’s the area that contains the side mirror) 3) disappointed in the Navigation system as it’s gotten me lost on many occasions way before the update was required…I quit using it a long time ago. 4) the hood sits high and is depth is deceiving. I constantly hit curbs even though it feels there is plenty of room (never had this problem with the Explorers). 5) it doesn’t have a tight turning radius like the Explorer, I miss that. I get +/- 20 mpg in town and 26-28 mpg on the highway, which is expected of this vehicle. Overall this is a very nice vehicle and I plan to keep it for many more years!

Good Value for Money
Despite the CVT transmission failed and needed replacement after 30 days the car has been a dream to own and drive. My only complaint or nit is Android Auto technology wasn’t available for the year. Otherwise, I’m happy with it and still own it.

Stylish, safe and comfortable
I got the platinum and I have loved driving this car. The front seats are very comfortable, and controls are easy to reach and understand. I like the front view camera as well as the rear view, heated steering wheel and seats, and the safety blind-spot warning lights and rear cross traffic warning. I feel safe (my husband survived unharmed in a multiple rollover into a creek, when he swerved to avoid an elk) and I really enjoy the ride. My only niggles: I'd like a slightly firmer feel to the steering and prefer a better front view when making sharp right turns. I wasn't happy with the replacement brakes (from Nissan dealer) because they squeal when reversing-sound like inferior quality to me.

Unexpected Repairs
At 36,000 miles I need a brake job and new tires?!?!?! This vehicle was in the garage for most of last winter due to us being out of town. The brakes began squealing while in reverse and it was due for an oil change. Now we find out it needs a brake job and new tires. This is a big expense that we would not expect for another year. I have never needed brakes or tires this soon on any previously owned vehicle. I do like the views with the cameras and think they are more helpful than the ones on our Ford Explorer. The font on the navigation map is thick so the on screen maps are difficult use with the text taking up more space than necessary.
