Used 2007 Nissan Maxima Sedan Consumer Reviews
My first Nissan
I have owned a lot of different cars (Volks, Chevy, Buick, Olds, Dodge, Honda, Mercury, Saturn, Chevy, Toyota, Jeep) and this is by far the nicest one. I would recommend the senory package because it gives you a lot for a reasonable price. Car has good power for a "luxury sedan" and looks nice. Nissan has made big improvements on the interior compared to the 04-06 models. I love the new CVT trans but it does take time to get use to. I love the keyless start.
Lovin' it so far
I've had the SL for three weeks and I love it. I considered an Avalon, a G35x, a Passat, and the Maxima. For me, it was the best combination of sportiness, size, reliability and looks.

Room for improvement
Overall the 07 maxima is a nice looking car to the eye! But, there are downfalls. Such as, cabin noise, front end humming, mechanics state there's no problem. tire pressure light consistently comes on. On acceleration the steering wheel shakes at about 55 mph.
From 04SL TO 07SL
I traded up from a 04SL MAX .. The 07 is what the 04 should have been. MUCH improved in all areas. Quiet smooth ride. Build quality much improved. The more I drive it .. the happier I get !! It is different car than my old 04SL especially in ride and handling ....
"The 4-Door Sports car"
Nissan has the right formula for a stylish sporty sedan with a whole lot of performance. The xtronic cvt has been refined and the interior is quiet and extremely comfortable. The Nissan Maxima is head and shoulders above the rest: Accord, Camry, Gallant, etc.
