This is my 3rd Maxima. It is everything that I expected and more. My wife loves it.Acceleration is excellent.CVT is great although you have to get used to it in the beginning. No torque steer.Pleasant ride.Handling could be improved.Impressive gas mileage, even with only 2500 miles on it. Trunk storage is great and the rear seats fold down - unlike some Toyota models.Great looking-my neighbors and friends were very impressed.

i got my maxima a week ago, ever since then i have been in love with it, even my girlfriend loes it, this is the best maxima ever!! the seats are black leather (but really soft), and to add it more style i went to beverly hills tinting garage and i tinted my windows very dark!! (yes illegal dark) but i got a sticker freom the eye dostors saying that i can have the windows that dark (becase when i drive the sun gets into my eyes). All in the end i love my new 2007 nissan maxima 3.5 sl !!!

Love It So Far!

I've always wanted a Nissan Maxima, but 5 years ago I settled for a Honda Accord. I recently sold the Accord and decided to try the new Maxima, mainly because of the CVT. I haven't been dissatisfied so far. The CVT does get some getting used to, but the car handles well, has great acceleration and is just plain fun to drive. The craftsmanship of the car's interior is outstanding and the BOSE stereo system is magnificent. I love this car and only hope for long-lasting reliability.

So far the Maxima has far exceeded my expectations, and I've been pleasantly surprised overall. Great features, great handling, good acceleration. Intelligent key system is fantastic, Bose system sounds nearly as good as a $2400 custom system I installed in my SUV.

my Maxima ownership experience

This is a stylish, comfortable car with lots of interior and trunk space. It accommodates the roomy interior needs for a family better than any modern mid-to-full sized sedan in this price range. The maxima successfully combines comfort, sportiness(fun&fast) and luxury. The car corners good & shifts seamlessly on acceleration. EPA estimates (22/28)I have found to be unattainable under normal driving conditions. Reality:20-21 city or hwy. The turn radius makes this car tough to park in congested places. It tends to be very hard on bumps and noisy. I have owned my Maxima 2.5 years and notice the shiny trim around the windshield fading bad (the car is garaged at night).
