Used 1991 Nissan Maxima Consumer Reviews
for a 13 yr old car? im very happy
ive had this car for over 2 years and its been pretty reliable. although ive had to change the alternator and the starter at least once a year. other than that. i love it.
Good times!
Purchased my 1990 Maxima in 1997 with ~70000 miles on it. It has performed beautifully since then. I've never had any performance problems with the engine. I've done regular, routine maintenance on it and I've replaced several worn out parts (brake calipers, starter motor, timing belt). A great car, well worth the price!
Great Car
I have had this car for ten years. Mileage right now is 208k. Replaced tranny once (with a used one), one fuel injector, alt, starter, speed sensor, radiator, master cylinder and front stuts all have failed or wore out, but I am not complaining. Brakes and exhaust replacement is common. I would buy another one right now! This is a great car that does not have one valve tap. Engine is still quiet.
Fits me just fine
I bought the car in August or June and within 17000 miles the transmission went out on it. I thought it was a rip off but when I bought the car it had 120000 miles. And from 120-137000 miles I enjoyed racing everything i passed and saw beside the police. My uncle has a 1994 Maxima and his is a lot faster than mine and he can hall butt on that one, then last month he bought the 2004 Maxima, all can say is Everything that i buy from here on out will be a Maxima because I love power, racing and speed.
Love my SE
Best car I've ever owned. She's got 248,000 miles and still fun to drive. This car has been extremely reliable and continues to get great gas mileage - 28 mpg on the highway. The 5-speed has held up great - I'm still driving on the original clutch. I don't hesitate to take my old max out on long road trips - even with a quarter of a million miles! Nice job Nissan!
