Great truck for a lot of gas

My Frontier is a great truck: fun to drive, comfortable, reliable, does everything I ask it to without complaining. But my only complaint is that it sucks gas like no one else's business. I average about 15-16 MPG. Granted, I live in the city, which isn't optimal for fuel efficiency, but it still hurts the pocket book. It still get's below average gas milage on the freeway (about 16-17 MPG), but it's still better than in the city. My recommendation, if you do a lot of freeway driving or don't live in the city, it's a great truck to drive. If you live in the city, you better be rich.

This is an awsome truck, everything is great the front seats are very comfortable, the only problem is the back seat is not exactly meant for huge adults but hey for me its just there so i can throw things on it, the truck bed has a lot of room and wow this thing tows a preety big load and hauls a preety big load without even breaking a sweat on my way to 90 mph on the freeway, lol this is a great truck

I purchased this truck in June 2003. I have put almost 9000 miles on it since then. I have had no problems at all. The gas mileage was poor to start, but a K&N filter changed that. (17-21)(15- 17 before)HWY. The Rockford Fosgate system isn't all what it's cracked up to be. The factory stereo in my 02 Trailblazer sounds better. Overall I am pleased with the performance and ride.

For the most, this vehicle is a good handling truck but very high on gas consuming. THe air conditioner and heat exchanger are very poor and the interior space is very limited, specially in the back seat.

Need more backseat leg room. More CD space. Dashboard gauges are hard to see in the day time (need to be a lighter color) 6 disc CD changer should be standard. Over all it is a very nice truck and fun to drive!!
