2005 Altima SL over Accord EX

Nissan has won me over. Having owned a '95 Acura Legend, a 2001 Accord, and a 2003 Oddessy, I was a loyal honda customer - the key word is 'was'. I test drove both cars, and felt the Altima was a better car in the top of the line trim vs the accord ex v6. The redesigned Altima interior for 2005 is a nice improvement, although some of the compartment doors still feel a little cheap. What sold me was the performance of the Nissan v6. It is smooth, throaty, and has gobs of power at the will of your right foot.

I have owned 3 Altimas a 93, 02, and 05 and I love these cars. When I got my 02 it was pretty basic but I fell in love with the performance, stupidly I got rid of it for a truck which I later regreted. Which is why I decided to get my 05 and I am so glad I did. Unlike my 02 my 05 is loaded and its beautiful. I am very pleased with it

I just recently purchased my 2005 Nissan Altima SL. This was an upgrade from a 99 Altima GXE. Boy what a difference... you can't even tell it's the same model. I love absolutely everything about my Altima, from the exterior styling, color, leather interior, steering wheel controls, power driver's seat, sunroof and definitely the Bose stereo system with 6 disc dashboard changer! But I have to say what sold me on this vehicle is the V6 3.5L engine with 250 horses. What a bang for the buck! I purchased my Altima for right at $25000, about $200 over invoice. My hubby and I thought this was the best value for a midsize sports sedan, and I feel comfortable with our decision.

This is my first Altima and it is a good little car. It's reliable and looks good. If you need a quality car that handles fairly well for a stock vehicle and would like a reasonable price, this is your car. If you are looking for massive power, don't look to this car. Go up to the Maxima which is also a great car.

Love my car. I have never had a Nissan before but I love it. It holds my family well and it's comfortable to ride in. I enjoy traveling in it also. It also does pretty well on gas.
