This is my 3rd 370Z, buying another (2019) and change it. Don't fix what's not broken. Getting a deck out 370 Nismo. These cars are the best deals in Sports cars. Affordable, reliable, over the top performance. A pleasure to drive!

A drivers' impression of Nissans 370Z

How does a driver who is seeking some of the finest in class handling, acceleration and good looks, buy just one car? The Nissan 370Z fills the niche nicely. While the car suffers from mediocre reviews on the internet, most read almost exactly the same and focus on points that in many cases leave you wondering if the author actually even viewed the car in person, as they are so miniscule or insignificant. They state that the ride is harsh over large bumps. Why yes, it is. It's a sports car which sits low to the ground, uses very stiff materials in suspension bushings (which transmit road noise) and handles with the nimble agility of a gazelle. Matter of fact, the 370Z and Corvette achieve almost identical numbers on the skid pad, right at the 1.0g mark. Track testing of the car reveals a close rivalry between the 370, Porsche Boxster, Toyota Supra, pre C6 Vettes, Audi S5, and the Ford and GM and Dodge Pony Cars to be very indicative where this car fits in the scheme of todays' sports car... While is is now considered to be dated, many features are not and you can't argue that it's horsepower, braking and track oriented numbers are very impressive. Fuel economy is an impressive 8.2 L/100km combined or 35mi./imp.gal. if you are not enjoying the bellow of a 7500rpm redline and the sweet whine of it's manual gearbox. The independant rear axle transmits the 332hp (350 in NISMO trim) to the ground through some nice 18" super sticky Yokohama tires. What can be done to right the things that give writers fits? Perhaps the biggest thing in my opinion is the instrument cluster. It suffers from no less than 3 styles of gauges and lacks an oil pressure gauge. Nissan could have given us a useable oil pressure gauge in the pod presently reserved as a clock, which would be better suited on the infotainment system (I mean radio). Which brings me to my wish list. - A small displacement VVT V8 with future upgrades like turbo/supercharging. - An integrated and advanced infotainment system with intuitive hands free capability and track oriented apps. - A larger factory supported selection of upgrades, such as aero components, suspension upgrades, and vanity items such as trim pieces in various themed finishes. -Harley Davidson has perhaps mastered this segment for the motorcycle industry as an example. And finally, A NISMO hybrid version using a gasoline engine and single electric motor to drive all 4 wheels via a computer controlled torque delivery system. Whatever you decide, this Nissan sports car continues to be an overall impressive package that will not disappoint.
