Used 1995 Nissan 300ZX Consumer Reviews
MY FAVORITE CAR EVER
I've owned many cars the last 30 years, but none of them comes close to the all around feeling I got while driving my 300zx Conv. I'm 6ft3" and weigh 260 pounds and people couldn't believe I drove such a small car untill they saw how much room their actually was. It felt like you were sitting in the cockpit of a fighter jet. the performance was x-cellant.
Excellent Car
I purchased this car in March of 2003 and I've had now for 6 months. It has been an EXCELLENT car to own. Though it is 9 years old (people tend to forget that when they see its body styling)and has 120k miles, all the major systems are still operating extremely well. I've only had to do minor maintenance on it (lubricating the hood latch and replacing an electric side mirror), but overall I'm very impressed!

The Best Z Ever
Purchased this car 2 months ago. It's not Turbo but it sure is fast. Have not had any serious problems out of this car yet. The design is out of this world for a 1995 car. Customizing this car is easy and fun. I will be doing an engine swap for a TT engine soon. 300 hp is more than enough for this car. I owned an 07 350Z but I love this car more because of the price for one, and the fact that it is becoming more and more rare daily. Most people think that this car is newer than it really is because of the look. If you ever ask anyone who has owned this car they will say they love it. It handles like a dream. If you can find a TT version buy it and cherish it...
300zx
This car has been AWESOME. Acceleration is like an on off switch, no one can keep up. Sytling is timeless. Mechanically fantastic, althought electronics like radio, power antenna and lighter are suspect. Love this car and would keep it till it died if it weren't for a kid on the way. 11 years and 101k miles later it still will break the tires free at 60mph if you have the guts for it. Find one, buy one. period.
LOVE IT
I bought this car about 7 years ago. Man what a sports car. I have the non turbo and it still flies and kicks the crap out of most cars on the road. I highly recommend this car for anyone looking for a not so expensive super fun car to drive. handles like a dream and a lot of girls who don't know much about cars think its a 2005 and up model lol. it was definitely ahead of its time. Two words " Buy It!"
This is my first Nissan ever
Well! I just purchased this 95 300zx a couple days ago but so far I have mixed feelings about the vehicle. It's a very beautiful car, it runs great, but it's leaking oil and I still dont know where the leak is. And the engine check light is going on and off. I hope its nothing serious. I still love the car though. It runs so strong and smooth. I have always been obsessed with the toyota supra but this 300zx has changed my mind and I regret that I didn't buy this vehicle sooner. It's very well built and I admire the person who engineered this beautiful vehicle. After all I think I made a right choice and when I have extra cash I will buy another Z.
Best affordable sports car ever.
Turbos are a headache, no matter the manufacturer. That's why I opted for the Z32 NA when looking for a new-used car. It was love at first sight in 1989 when I saw my first Z32 and the passion hasn't left the relationship. Sure she's expensive to keep, but what woman worth a dang isn't? Car parts wear out and need replacing and I happily hand over my credit card whenever necessary to keep my girl on the road and making me happy every day I'm fortunate enough to drive her. Never mind stock. Get one of these and mod the heck out of it for my sheer driving pleasure. The aftermarket parts list for this car is longer than your arm. I'm keeping mine forever.
This is the best car!
I love everything about this car! I got it in my 16th birthday from my dad- it was his car until then. I love how the engine sounds and starting fast in it. It is the funnest car!
Just Superior
This car out performs the Supra, RX-7, 3000GT VR4, Stealth, NSX as well as any car in it's class.
Z32 300zx Twin Turbo = FUN
I have loved the Z line of cars as long as I could remember. Once I has the chance to own a Z32 (chassis code for 1990-1996) I had to do just that. I bought the car to have fun with on the week ends, but loved the car so much! I couldn't stay out of it. I drove it on 1000mi + road several times. It was comfortable, easy to use, & just fun to be in! Though as with any older turbo car, it did become high maintenance. I work on my own cars, and the Z32 is not as hard as it looks to work on, but it's still not easy. My advice is to replace any & all rubber hoses, first thing when you get one.
It's a Beautiful Car and It's so Much fun to drive
It's timeless! Get one and you'll keep it forever. I just got my dream car, 1995 300zx convertible Artic Pearl White with tan leather and only 46,200 miles, and it's 22 years old. It's so beautiful I can't stop looking at it. I will keep it and maintain it to drive for a long time and won't sell it unless I can't get in and out of it any more. It's a perfect affordable sport car and it doesn't break the bank. Get one and enjoy it before they are all gone.

A fine automobile
We purchased our 1994 300ZX new and have enjoyed nearly 16 years of driving a fine automobile. It currently has 81,000 miles and we have had very few mechanical issues. We changed the timing belt at 50,000 miles (precautionary) and had a speed sensor malfunction at 75,000 miles. Also, new front brake pads. Other than that, it has been a nearly perfect car. The paint is original and still shines. The 5-speed manual has never experienced the first problem. The car is fun to drive. We took it on four separate 3-month around-the-U.S. trips of about 11,000 each and it was a joy to drive. On three of the trips we carried a tent and other camping gear in the back.
Perfect Car!
I recently purchases a 1994 Nissan 300zx and have been complimented by all my friends and strangers. I love the performance of my car and i love the Design. the leather seats are very comfortable and the suede just tops it off as a pure BEAUTY BEAST!..
300Z time machine
I bought my 94'300ZX N/A 04/15/05 for $9300 with 45,326 miles on it. I love this car! Sporty, classy, and a true performer, its going to be my long term project car as I (stealthily) add to the already amazing design. Handling is outstanding especially when you upgrade to stickier summer tires on larger rims. Performance is respectable enough to embarrass those A4 and BMW 3-series drivers and with some relatively minor (and optional - I just really like going fast...) enhancements, can be a truly devastating competitor. Its not the scary beast that the TT version is, but a damn fine piece of engineering nonetheless. Nissan was way ahead of the curve on this Fair Lady.
94' Nissan 300zx 2+2 - loaded beauty
I hope Samantha '02 reveiw is still loving her 94 300zx. I have been in love for 25 yrs. With normal yearly maintenance the least problematic of all luxury sport cars. I've had 83' 280zx, 87' z, 86' Masserati & 88' JaguarXJS, 90 Lotus, 2 T birds & a Vette. She's still my favorite reliable beauty! I've aged but not her. Now it's time for me to sell. My bones getting too old for such low ins & outs. Of all cars owned (16) my 94 300ZX out performed all of them & still turning heads! Heartbroken

what a ride!
Iv had my 95 zero for 6 years. Im putting it thru a service life extension program. Its liveing on synthetic fluids now, did the timeing belt, hardware, water pump and all the belts and hoses. Its so nice to work on a rear wheel drive again. I recently found a 94 2+2 for my girlfriend, in great shape. Get the factory service manual. Doing the work yourself is by far the best option, and its really not very hard. Pay special attention to the timeing belt and hardware, on these engines, if you lose the timeing belt, you lose the engine. They are just SO much fun, at the end of a crappy day, just take a ride. See you all later
I love my Z
I had to sell mine do to an unfortunate accident by my friend, but as soon as I can afford another, this will be my next ca r to purchase again. It was a blast to drive. Limited slip rear diff. stock made this car even funner to get side ways in.
What else do you need?
This car pumps me up just looking at it. Styling is timeless. Handling is breath taking. Non turbo has more power than anyone needs. I LOVE this car and will own it forever.
It's so good
I love this car
How could you not?
How could you not love this car!? It is fun, stylish, comfortable, dependable, and fast all in one complete package! I definetly recommend the 5 speed over the automatic for play and performance. This car is definetly on my all time favorite cars list!
I got a 95 TT and it runs like hell
Probably one of the best values ever, truly a budget supercar. Basically a 400hp engine tuned down to 300 from the factory, with a few simple changes you get a cheap and near instant 325-350 hp at the rear wheels. Strong aftermarket support will get you to 700hp+. Still amazing after 15 years since its release, this Z is still ahead of many cars technologically. This car had computer controlled 4 wheel steering and digital climate control at a time when most manufactures were trying to get their automatic transmissions and cruise control to work. The Z32 is one of the greatest cars ever. I know I'll never sell mine.
Glad I own one
These cars are too cool. I own serveral nice cars "Lincoln LS V- 8" "Porche 911" "Audi TT" "BMW Z-3" I like the Nissan Z car over the rest. Performance, fun and quality all in one. Get more looks, questions and attention in the 300zxTT. Love it..
Great sportscar!
I purchased this vehicle in December of 2005. It had high mileage but had been maintained well. The car handles better than anything that I have ever driven, or ridden in for that matter. It is so fun to get the looks and stares that you get with a car this good-looking. The t-tops are a great feature and make summer driving even more fun. I get 20 mpg and the car requires premium gas so it isn't the most economical car you can own, but then it wasn't designed to be an economy car. It was designed to be a sports car and man did they get that right! If you are looking for a used sports car, I would highly recommend the 300ZX!
Best Car Ever
I bought this car and it had 76,398miles on it and now 1,000 miles later the car has no problems.. It still a beast... I burned a 3000GT not too long ago with it.. and I burn Mustangs with it all the time... basically if you want a GREAT car for not a million bucks get this if you want just a car go get yourself a mustang or a Civic... This car is only for the willing and the worthy... Are you worthy enough?
Nice but........
I am in the market for a used car and I got a chance to drive a friend's '95 300z when he was a little to drunk to drive. To be honest I was quite impressed with the handling and overall perf of this car. It was a baseline Z(no turbo)with a comfortable leather int. I had a blast driving it and am concidering it as my next purchase. Although it's a great car, the 222hp Z does not have the power to blow the doors off a stock Z28, from '93 -'02, (I own a '97). You would need the twin turbo for that. I was soundly spanked by a '96 Z28 on the way home.
great all-around car to own
So what if it's not the fastest car around. It's still the best automotive design of the past decade. Having driven this car since new, I can honestly attest to the amazing reliability. Only a few problems in almost eight years. It doesn't cost any more than your garden variety Maxima to maintain.
What a Car!
An unbelievable machine to garage or use as an everyday driver. Never had any problems and still have the new car smell. Still turns heads. Nissan did it right.
1994 300zx Twin Turbo
This car still has curb appeal 20 years after leaving the factory and sent to the USA, With some simple mods you can get to 400 HP, the stock version is very fast and the 5 speed is good, Anyone interested in this twin turbo model should know that there is a vast network of people who can help you with any problems that may come up. twinturbo dot net, Do not waste your time with the NA version, they are a dime a dozen, the real value is with the twin turbo model and the low production numbers of the last 3 years 94-96, I purchased this car 1 year ago with 121K miles and it is very reliable, engine is smooth and maintenance is expensive but needed from time to time, timing belt a must.
Great looks with a reasonable trunk.
Compared to the competion this is a great two seat convertible. A good size trunk for weekend getaways; no mechanical problems; fun to drive; and turns heads.
Sports car of Sports cars!!
I really dont have anything Negative to say about this car.. its all around features and performance is magnificent. Looks astonishing and when u drive it, you almost certainly feel like u driving in a 80,000 dollar sports coupe.!!!! keep this car for a really long time!
My favorite Nissan
My Z was in nearly mint condition when I bought it in early 2001. Now at 136k miles, it can still consistently run the 1320 in 14.7 sec. Major mods: K&N intake, JWT ECU, headers, exhaust, lightened flywheel, clutch, lightened crank pulley, SS brake lines/syn. fluid. I have yet to experience any ill-effects as a result of these mods or my daily heavy-footed driving. I get an avg. combined city/hwy mileage of 22+ mpg. The driver's seat lower left side bolster is worn through to sharp metal. This is a std. flaw for this car. All of my pants belts have scratch marks on them in the same place. Ordinary drivers (80% bad) will annoy you. People will want to race you. Cops will suspect you.
z crazy
i just bought myself a 1994 300zx n/a, and man what a beautiful car! for being 10 years old youd have thought its design just rolled off the boards at nissan. they were far ahead of their time. fun as hell to drive, and built very solid. when you drive it you can feel somethign special about it. turns heads and smokes civics!
Best value in a sports car
I've been looking for a 300Z for many years, but it had to be the right one. Recently I found it - one owner, low miles, never seen winter and No MODIFICATIONS. It had the original titanium key, books, t-top covers. It's been everything I had hopde for. Gerat performance, fun to drive and a real quality built vehicle. I didn't opt for the twin turbo - too much hassle. And it was a bargain at just over $10K.
94 N/A Coupe, It's Worth It!
I bought this car a little less then 3 years ago. I got it for $5000 with 92,000 miles on it. I had it inspected before purchasing and I was told the car was in good shape. I expected to do the usual routine work on it . What I didn't expect was a crack radiator neck, bad knock sensor, and fuel injector replacements shortly after. But, after droping roughly $6,000 more into the car to get it in perfect running condition it has been nothing but pure joy! It now has 120,000 miles on it with a cold air intake, stage 2 racing cluch, rear strut bars, short shifter, and a sound system. It's awesome to drive, easily customizable, and turns heads! If you have some spare cash this is the car for you!
1994 Nissan 300ZX
I so have enjoyed driving this car. It's great for Sunday afternoon spins. It's fast enough but quick in the turns. At this point I have only replaced the #4 injector. I have thought about trading for muscle but can't bring myself to letting go. For the money, it's the best car I've ever owned.
The Z
Bought one of these from an individual when it had 160,000 miles. I had nothing but trouble with it up until the day I sold it. It was fast (after I replaced the knock sensor that had been retarding the timing ($700)). It handled like a go cart and got lots of looks. T-tops were fun too. I just wasn't happy with it because anything that could have gone wrong with it did while I had it from sensors to pulleys to the transmission.
94 Z
Beautiful, fast, fun, dependable--even at 100,000 miles it drives like new.
