2024 Mitsubishi Outlander Consumer Reviews

Buyer beware!!
Our 2023 Outlander has been at the dealership for over a month now waiting on parts, a strut. They keep saying they aren’t making extras and I say sure they are they are on every new Outlander. You should know this prior to purchasing a Mitsubishi! Unless you have multiple vehicles you may want to stay away from this brand. This is my last for sure!

Tires cupping
Purchased a 2023 Outlander, 2 months later my brother-in-law purchased a 2023 Outlander also. My BIL had to replace tires at approximately 20 thousand miles because of a cupped tire. At 40 thousand miles the same rear tire was cupped again. My Outlander now has 18 thousand miles and I noticed a lot of road noise so I checked my back tires and sure enough one is cupped.

10/10 would not recommend
My last 2 cars were Honda CRV’s which I loved but Honda has raised the prices so much we decided to try something new. I loved the look of the Outlander and the price was right. That is all it has going for it. If you’re looking for a car that everything works on, this is not the car for you. The touch screen is sketchy and freezes. Half the time apple car play will let you hear the directions but not see the map. The first time I tried to use the washer fluid it didn’t work, so assuming it was empty (on a brand new car) I added fluid. That was not the case, it just doesn’t work. The cruise control is basically worthless. Even on a straight away it can’t hold speed and heaven forbid you are on any type of incline. With less than 1500 miles on it the change oil light came on. Don’t set your purse on the passenger floor board if your keys are in it. The car won’t detect the key and start. If you’re trying to lock the car, make sure not to put your key in your gym bag or in your purse unless you keep it on your hip closest to the door or it won’t lock. This is the worst car purchase I’ve ever made.
Tech and Design Heavy Hitter
I’ve had my 2024 Outlander SEL Platinum for two weeks now. Ride is adequate and cabin is roomy. Cupholders in front could use more accessible placement. The seats definitely lack padding. So much so, in fact, I find my legs going numb after about 20-25 minutes. Just ordered a cushion online this morning. I hope it helps. Very disappointing lack of detail by Mitsubishi on what is supposed to be their top of the line trim level.

Amazing suv, perfect for single and family
Overall me wife&kids love it. Driving 140+miles daily work and house. Average 35-39 mpg. Looks like she should cost a lot more. Very safe, reliable and smooth ride. Simple maintenance no issues or complaints. Bought with 4mi. Over 110,000 now and no engine noise at all. As quiet as the day we got her. 2022 outlander SE, chrome package.
