2024 Mitsubishi Outlander Consumer Reviews

Underwhelming
I didn’t like the ergonomics, the layout for the center console, or the control configuration on the steering wheel. The seat was comfortable and offered good support for long distance driving without crippling my back, so that’s worth a star all by itself. Your mileage may vary. I absolutely hated the cruise control. Climbing a mountain I found myself going ten mph under the set speed because the cruise control was already commanding maximum power and the engine couldn’t maintain speed. Fair is fair; there were four people in the vehicle and all of our baggage for a weekend. Respectable enough performance for a four cylinder. Coming down the other side, however, I looked down and found myself going TWENTY!!!!! mph over the set speed. If you programmed the car to the speed limit and didn’t keep a watchful eye on it, that’s a pretty hefty speeding ticket. If you programmed it to speed a little, depending on its ability to maintain speed within an mph or two and the forbearance of the local constabulary, you’d be at a serious risk of being arrested for reckless driving.

2024 Outlander SEL..never again
Worst new car I've ever purchased. The low profile tires give off terrible road noise unless your on a super smooth road. The suspension is weak...If you hit a pot hole or speed bump your going feel it and hear it..almost like there isn't any shocks. Cabin noise is very loud also..sounds like a window is cracked open when you drive. Very cheaply built in my opinion..it would be a deal if they sold them brand new for $25,000. I honestly can't wait to get rid of it. Vehicle didn't seem all that bad when I test drove it..went down hill from there.

Drives great
The 2024 Mitsubishi Outlander drives great, love the technology and the Bose radio system is amazing. With the windows down there is a lot of road noise but how often do you drive with the windows down? So far I am getting 27MPG combined not bad for AWD. For the money this is a great vehicle one of the FEW vehicles priced a few thousand off MSRP.

Junk
2023 outlander ES AT 9 months rear differential went. Had to be towed to dealership then waiting 2 months for repair.. 2 months later leak in the front axel seal which was transmission fluid.. took month and half to repair.. now a few weeks later and having transmission issues.. feels like a standard car that is going to stall. Don’t know how long g this will take to fix.. tire that came on in are crap blew the tire in the first three months and no spare tire… needless to say a trade is in the very near future and will never purchase from them again! Stay clear!

First Mitsubishi- Impressed
I did tons of research on the new (22 and on) Outlanders and I am so glad I chose to trust the research. I had never even considered a Mitsubishi, but did and I am blown away at my 24 Outlander SEL Touring. Gas mileage is great, safety is amazing, drive is smooth, and interior is beautiful. Third row is small but I knew it was just an added bonus in a compact SUV category that’s hard to come by. Power isn’t super impressive but it’s a 4 cylinder and it most definitely is fast enough and powerful enough for me around town and on the interstate. Warranty is fantastic and my dealership experience was amazing, so for me, it’s an absolute yes for what we needed! I am so excited to drive it.
