more for less
Look at the specs: fuel economy, cargo volume, safety, price. Its a win for many people. SUV ratings seem to focus on bigger=better. But with this car you get almost everything a much larger SUV would have for less money, less gas, and possibly better safety, depending on the larger suv you're comparing. 3rd row seats are a game changer when you have a family of 6 or 7. Ground clearance and 4WD in a car with fuel economy this good...hard to beat. Subaru competes, but no 3rd row. Nissan has the 3rd row but no 4WD But how is the driving experience? Its not a sportscar or a Subary WRX, but its fun and comfortable, especially when compared to other cars in this price class. I look for excuses to take this car on long trips instead of the minivan. its just more fun.

Better than expected
So after 80k miles, my 2016 Mitsubishi Outlander SEL is still smooth rolling! My nephew who works on Honda and Toyota's as a 'hobby', begged me not to get this SUV. Said I would have trouble with is and it wasn't reliable. Just the other day he asked me how did I like it now? To which I answered, still love it, still have had "0" problems with it. Maintenance oil changes and other mileage maintenance fluid changes - that's it. And STILL he says I really better get rid of it before it 'blows up'....get the tried and true reliable Toyota or Honda. Well - I just don't get it. Why should I sell it and get something else when this vehicle has been reliable, dependable and a joy to drive?? Oh, and when I go for my 5000 mile tire rotation and get my brakes checked?? The brake pads STILL don't need changed!

love the car
I bought the car because I liked the third seat to transport my grandkids. The third seat is not big enough for two medium sized adults. It is great for kids. The car is being marketed now as a seven passenger vehicle which it is not....I still love the car!
