Used 2016 Mitsubishi Outlander SE 4dr SUV (2.4L 4cyl CVT) Consumer Reviews
Jack of all trades
This thing is fast, quiet, comfortable. The black/grey interior is timeless, and there are no rattles, squeaks or clunks. It is light on it's feet, has good ground clearance, gets decent mid-20's MPG in town, about 32 MPG highway. The Black Pearl paint looks better if kept clean.

This is best $$$ value by far
If you need rear AC.... Then look elsewhere. If you want a great economical safe and dependable SUV.... Then this is by far the best. The complaint about the backseat is garbage.. Truth is... All 3 rows adjust to make room. We needed 3 rows on occasion.. Gas mileage is awesome... We realize 32 mpg.... Loaded with 5 people and gear. Get the roof rack option. I didn't... And ended up buying it later. Rubber mats are necessary for black interior. 2 problems with car... 1st the sun visor lacks extension. 2nd...air vents for rear is under seats only. That's it. 21k Otd for a GREAT CAR!

Outlander - the best most underrated option
I love my 2016Outlander and get nothing but complements. The wheels are definitely more beautiful than anything comparable and it is so fun to drive around and zip around the city/region. Mine is quarts brown like a Mocha color and I love it. The car still drives sporty in eco mode and is way more economical than Toyota or Honda options for the same Japanese quality. I had a Mitsubishi Montero Sport previously in addition to my Outlander. After also owning Hondas and Nissan - I am a loyal Mitsubishi customer. People really should realize more the value of buying a Mitsubishi!

more for less
Look at the specs: fuel economy, cargo volume, safety, price. Its a win for many people. SUV ratings seem to focus on bigger=better. But with this car you get almost everything a much larger SUV would have for less money, less gas, and possibly better safety, depending on the larger suv you're comparing. 3rd row seats are a game changer when you have a family of 6 or 7. Ground clearance and 4WD in a car with fuel economy this good...hard to beat. Subaru competes, but no 3rd row. Nissan has the 3rd row but no 4WD But how is the driving experience? Its not a sportscar or a Subary WRX, but its fun and comfortable, especially when compared to other cars in this price class. I look for excuses to take this car on long trips instead of the minivan. its just more fun.
