Used 2017 Mitsubishi Lancer Consumer Reviews
2016 Mitsubishi Lancer GTS
I bought this car from the dealership off the showroom floor. I maintained it to dealer standards for the 7 years required. In that time the touch trunk button failed and needed to be replaced, the O2 sensor cable was dragging almost on the ground because of a broken clasp, and I drove it around 70k kms. The rear calipers had an issue which needed to be fixed somewhere around where the warranty let off which figures! I drove the car relatively but not excessively hard and it is a manual still on the original clutch. I only put 91 premium fuel in the car 89 and 93 both did not agree with the car. I got it loaded the leather on the shifter and "10 and 2" on the wheel are worn visibly and there is a few Knicks in the paint that need correction but they are really only visible if youre looking for them. The car handles well in snow with proper tires on my 16" winter rims. The heated seats get hot the ac still blows cold and im just under 100,000 kms but for a 9 year old car it still drives wonderfully the steering is heavy but that could be the 18" summer rims! I have driven other cars and always wish I was in my Lancer! I have not put any mods on it but I did change a light ballast underneath the headlight because it was corroded! As soon as I got that fixed the other one went out! Overall 5/5 for so many reasons I wanted to go 4.5 but its worth the 5.

Good car
I have a 2017 base model manual lancer. It now has 96,000 miles and the biggest repair cost so far was the clutch. I needed a cheap small car and I'm really happy I chose this one. It being a manual makes it a lot more fun to drive and it takes turns and handles pretty well. I get on average 30 miles per gallon and I drive up and over mountains quite often. Some materials on the inside seem of poorer quality but I personally do not care about such things. as long as I can get to work and back I am happy. We have a 2018 Outback for the family car and use mine just for work purposes. I would recommend this car to a family with one child or for someone just needing to get from point A to point B.

Solid vehicle for the price
I’ve had my 2017 lancer es from 2018 roughly, and I can honestly say it was my favourite car. The drive is smooth, it’s a great first car for anyone looking for an easy to use car. Just like everyone else’s says for any car keep up with maintenance and oil changes and that car will last you for a while. I’ve gotten a lot of memories from this car, hence being my favourite car. Only if Mitsubishi kept with the Lancer line I would have been happier but like all great things it has to come to an end.

You would love this car
Bought used with 22,000 miles. Now have over 45,000. I am 67 years old and have owned many different cars. This is the best. No problems very inexpensive to service. My SE is 4wd not AWD. I live in northern most State of Maine and 4wd is imperative. This car is great.
