Fun car
This has been a great little car. I get over 30 mpg hwy and 25 mpg city.
Not One Problem
I purchased my 1999 Mitsubishi Eclipse new late in 1999. It currently has a little over 56,000 miles on it now - in November 2005. I have not had one single problem with it, ever. I have used synthetic oil every 5,000 miles from day one. I have only replaced the tires and battery, that's it.

Sweet
It took a long time for me to finally find this car, but it was well worth it. This car is beautiful and a ton of fun to drive. I have only had this car for a about 3 months but I have experienced no problems or flaws in its performance. I highly recommend this car.

Be carefull
Just got back from the dealership (TEMPE Mitsubishi) with my daughters 99 RS. $1800 in routine maintenance. The car has 42000 miles on it. Fortunatly the head gasket was covered by warrenty or it would have been more. Basically the dealer said the waterpump, timing belt, pulleys, hoses, belts , and motor mounts were shot. In a moment of weakness I authorized work without getting a second opinion.I was on the edge of the warrenty. Dealer says these repairs are standard at 60000 mi.
