No problems, 54,000 miles and going!
I haven't has a single problem with this car itself since purchase. The factory stereo/CD player, however, had to be replaced because the CD player stopped working. Overall, the car is tight, smooth, and fun to drive.
Not the best but . . .
Only a few problems. Door panels leaked tar (day to fix). Driver side door handle broke off. Input sensor failed (day to fix). Output sensor failed (day to fix).

great fast car
1999 was the last year of the turbo eclipse. It is one of the greatest cars ever produced. The engine provides the platform for unlimited horsepower. Overall an excellent vehicle.
Fun to drive
Well, I got the GS sports package so it looks like a GST/GSX which is really nice. I bought the car with 99,750 miles, but the people had the car since it was brand new! The car was also in immaculate condition. The things that make me upset is the doors leak black tar, and the car has a small oil leak. But other then that, good car so far.
The Perfect First Car!
This was my first car and it was wonderful! I bought it in 2002 and it ran well for about 7 years without any major issues. The timing belt went but it's likely on all eclipses. It rides well and is very sporty looking. I'd recommend this car to anyone.
