Used 2018 Mercedes-Benz E-Class E 300 AMG Line 4dr Sedan (2.0L 4cyl Turbo 9A) Consumer Reviews
You don’t really need the V6 version at all!
I’m a Mercedes guy and I normally drive the AMG versions because of the power. Got this E300 sport package with premium 2 to replace my wife’s car. At first, I was reluctant because it only had a 4 cylinder engine, which was ironic for a 60K luxury car. I researched the reviews online but they were not helpful, because they focused more on the advance tech features rather than the engine performance. I test drove it and boy oh boy, I was very impressed with the engine. It does not whine at all like most 4 bangers and because of the 9 speed gtronic transmission this car switches through the gears very effortlessly! The engine sounds better than the previous models V6s. The ride quality and handling is comparable to my S Class which is very impressive. The standard multi color ambient interior lighting is so cool specially driving at night. Sooo!!! Happy!!!

CPO E300 Sport
I drove C class sedans for about a dozen years (2005, 2009, 2011 and 2112 models) and then moved up to a. 2015 E350 a few-years-ago. Yesterday I bought a CPO 2018 E300 Sport with the AMG Line and Premium 3 packages. I always buy a one or two-year-old certified car and can't lease as I average about 30,000 miles per year. The 2015 E350 was a nice upgrade from the C class, which I always enjoyed, and the new generation 2018 is more of the same. While most people look at the new technology of the W213 generation cars as the biggest improvement, I actually find the biggest upgrade to be the driveline. Sure, the 3.0 liter V6 in my previous car was more powerful, but the 2.0 liter turbo four cylinder makes the same torque, and most importantly, that torque comes on at far lower RPM. The broader torque curve and nine speed (vs. seven speed) transmission results in a smoother and quieter ride that accelerates almost as hard (6.2 instead of 6.0 seconds 0-60) and returns better fuel economy (about 3 MPG better across the board in real world driving). There are other improvements as well. The new seats are more supportive and comfortable, the suspension is a bit more compliant (I have the standard steel-spring sport suspension) and the car is just better insulated against wind, road and tire noise (I do not have the quiet ride package). Of course the technology that attracts so much attention in professional reviews (my Premium 3 car has all of the semi-autonomous driving aids) is nice, I just think that the basic goodness of the platform is even more impressive.

Reasonable Mid Size Luxury Car
I bought E300 for my wife two years ago, she put 19,000 mile on it and so far no major issue we had to change one of the tires only, the car ride smoothly although it is missing the air suspension system, very nice technology and interior looking
