CLS 55 AMG 2006 model

Today 2021, and a 15 years old car but still you are getting the attention on road , still you can beat the new toys on roads, still the rumbling sound makes people scared but when they see the car “woow”. Every time you press the fuel peddle that smile will come in your face...what a car. Get one but make sure that the previous owner took a good care.

Bought cls 500

Just bought used CLS 500 a few weeks ago with 120k miles and am not super impressed. SBC breaking unit needs replacement, apparently all units are under 10 year warranty, sadly I am 6 weeks too late. I called mercedes dealer north houston, they declined to replace, called corporate - they just gave me that long story that they take time to evaluate each request, evaluate customer loyalty, etc and in the end also declined replacing the unit. It appears SBC unit was broken for years and previous owner didn't even know that mercedes has any warranty for them. Further, I am noticing that the transmission gears are starting to slip 2nd and I think 4th up and down shift. Additionally have to spend $2500 on minor maintenance things and another $2500 on additional non maintenance repairs. Leather preserved very well, except the front seat has one seem separated for 6-7 inches, fixable. Tires are starting to wear out on the inside, but it doesn't seem due to alignment, looks like another expansive but unidentified problem Pros: looks great, black paint preserved very well

This is a great car! Styling is beautiful and the performance is outstanding. I had an '03 Viper prior and this car is very close in performance and much better in size, comfort, and driveability. This is the best 4 door I've owned.

I had never driven such a car before. Head turning, excellent handling, powerful, beatiful, classy, easy to drive. I own several other cars among them a Ferrari 360 spider. No comparison between these two cars. The Mercedes is much more powerful and easier to drive. What a beast!

The car is unbelievable. I have driven Aston Martins, Porsches and many other sports cars before this one and this is second to none of them. The trunk is large for golf clubs and luggage so you can actually drive this car out of town, what a novel idea. The power is tremendous and the CLS handles very well compared to all the other mercedes available.
