Worst Car I Have Ever Owned

Bought the car brand new. The transmission and electrical system in this car are horrible. Multiple trips back to the dealership with two new transmissions and it is still a piece of junk. The infotainment system has been broken for months waiting on a part. Worst thing is Mazda and the dealership do not stand behind their cars. Save your money and a headache and never buy this car. I would give it a big fat 0 if it would let me. Total garbage!!!

I was very surprised by the fact that XM radio was an option that was only available on the Grand Touring. Very disappointing...I almost bought the car. Oh well.

Handles like a European made car. Interior trim is very good. The battery suddenly died for no explainable reason around 15 months and 18,000 miles. The local dealer did not have a clue why but replaced the battery under full warranty at no cost. The cars navigation system is basically worthless and we use Google maps or Waze on our Android phones instead. The dealer price quote of $650.00 to install the now approved Android Auto on this 2017 Grand Touring CX5 is entirely too expensive and we will continue to use cell phones instead.

I bought a used 2017 CX-5 in January 2021 with 30k miles. It is the best looking small SUV on the road in my opinion. I have made 2 trips in it already and the gas mileage was over 30 so I am pleased with that. It is roomy and comfortable for me. Very quite and has a nice smooth ride. My favorite creature comforts are the heated seats and Bose stereo. The only issue I have had is the nav/entertainment system has lost its mind a few times. I will be getting that checked out very soon.
