Used 2005 Mazda 6 Wagon Consumer Reviews
05 GT wagon
Traded in our 00 Sienna van. My husband and I both enjoy driving it. Sporty, fun to drive, good cargo room for family. Nice alternative to an SUV.
2005 Mazda 6 Sportwagon 3.0 V6
Bought this car used in 2018 with 92k miles on it, it now has 116k. Things that have gone wrong so far: Valve cover seals on both heads started leaking, power steering return hose leak, engine light on for warm up O2 sensor, new rotors needed all round, brakes all round seizing up. Regardless of this it has been fairly reliable and not broken down on me and is nice to drive. Just wish it didn’t need all these repairs with what isn’t really all that many miles on the clock. Wagon model is really practical with loads of cargo room, big enough to sleep in with the seats folded flat. 3.0 V6 engine is fairly lazy so don’t expect amazing performance from it. Average around 29mpg on highway and 20mpg in town. Wouldn’t get the V6 model again, but still giving it 4 stars.

Exceptional auto
I am most pleased with this car. This is the 4th Mazda product I have owned and they have only gotten better. I actually had a PR5 for two years until the 6 wagon became available. It never fails to get compliments from men and women and I've been stopped many times to answer questions. The car is very fun to drive and although I opted for the automatic Tiptronic, I find I use the manual mode often. Comfortable, practical, attractive, and quick, makes this a sports car in wagon's clothing. I highly recommend it.
Sporty wagon
My wife wanted another wagon even though our Passat wagon left me with a bad overall impression. So after doing my research, I decided to look at the Mazda 6. Boy, am I glad that I did! The car is very attractive and although I have owned for a few months, it has gotten more compliments than my Honda or VW ever did. The car satisfies my need for sportiness while meeting my wife's need for versatility. If anyone is seriously looking for a sporty "people mover," I strongly encourge them to take a look at this vehicle.
Like the Wagon
Really fun to drive. Very roomy cargo area. Gets lots of compliments on its sporty looks. Must burn mid-grade fuel or performance is severely downgraded.
