2004 Mazda 6 Wagon
I've had the car for two years now. Lot's of fun to drive and mechanically dependable. Paint finish quality leaves something to be desired. I've had to bring it back to the dealer 3 times to fix paint problems. Now the clear coat is peeling from the front bumper. To their credit, the dealership has been very easy to deal with and all of the problems got fixed. They have agreed to fix the latest problem as well.
A fine addition
The 6 addresses the ride shortcomings of the Protege, almost hovering in comparion. Wind noise is nonexistent, road noise is largely muted, though there is a slight hint of pavement quality transmitted through the steering wheel. The real charm of the car lies in the thoughtful interior design. The two- tiers center console, centar stack storage compartment, bottle holders in the doors, and other torage cubbies provide lot of options. The spring- loaded rear seats fold flat, and can be released from either a button on the seatback or a lever by the rear hatch.

Good value
I have owned my car for 18 months and have enjoyed the experience. Fun to drive and very sporty. Comfortable over the long trip. I just bought new tires after 43,000 miles as I plan to keep this one for a while longer.
Unique and Stylish
This is the first Mazda I've owned. It's been a great car for the past 2 years. I love the performance and styling. I get comments all the time asking what kind of car it is. I've only seen a few others on the road. Mileage isn't great, but at 220HP, I don't expect a lot, especially the way I drive. I really like the internal components in that the vents close completely, the controls are easy, auto temp AC, seat heaters. There's tons of room when the seats are down. Just a great car.
Great Value!
We have had our 6s for 6 months without any problems. We had a VW Passat prior to the 6 and had countless problems with it. We love the sportiness of the drive and the high feature content in the interior. It was a great value compared with other vehicles with the same option list.
