Just purchased a 6S (V6) with AT, leather, moonroof, Bose audio for $23,300. The dealers are discounting this car right now. This surprises me because the car is IMO the most attractive of the current crop of mid- sized Japanese sedans, handles like a dream, has a sweet stereo, terrific build quality and the best warranty around. The car is quick, tracks solidly and is very "flickable". It reminds me of my friend's Audi A4, right down to the red interior illumination.

This is the best sedan in its class. In terms of handling, power, style, and safety; I'd give it a 10.0 because its just perfect in my opinion. If you are looking for a car with all that you'd be happy after you test drive one. The 4 banger performs quite well. All you hear is the engine reving; no wind noise or road noise i could hear. and the suspension is awesome comparing to the ride comfort you expect from a bmw.

Disappointed Test Drive

I just test drove this car, and frankly it looks faster than it drives. I took out the v6 auto (manual not avail.) and was disappointed with the overall pickup. I drive a 99 TL, with 220HP and it seemed to have much better power off the line, and from 30-60mph. Perhaps the TL feels more touchy when I hit the gas, but the Mazda had a slow response when flooring it, and never seemed to feel "peppy or jumpy".

Excellent it is the best value in the market for a sedan. It easily eclipses the camry, accord, al;tima, galant ect in every imagionable catagory. It is more comparable with the 3 series sedans or acura's. Thanks Mazda!
