Used 1992 Mazda 323 Consumer Reviews
Repeat Buyer For A Good Reason
My most recent Maz, the '92 323 wasn't anything fancy, but it was practical, economical, fun to drive, handled perfectly, and it ran and ran and ran until recently, after 9 years (I was the second owner), it finally quit with 242,500 miles on it...and 3 cylanders. Yes, it had every right in the world to die, but it was the most reliable car I've ever owned (next to the first Maz, the '80 GLC--older version of the 323). I couldn't recommend a better, more reliable car than a Maz.
The King of reliability
This is the most reliable car i've ever had.150,000 miles on it. Never had any problem with engine or trany. Best car for the money.
Reliable Little Workhorse
Bought it, 14 years old but only 40,000 miles. Have driven it for two years now, adding over 20,000 miles, with no problems whatsoever. Note I owned a 1992 model before which I drove for 11 years without a single breakdown (sold it because of transatlantic move); based on that experience I didn't hesitate when I had the chance to take over this 14-year old little reliable workhorse.
good one
Although I just came to this website to look for a new car, (I am selling my mazda 323), but this guy is good! Very good, sorry to hear that Mazda is owned by ford.
Reliable car
Currently have 142,000 miles, original clutch, transmission, broke timing chain at 74,000 miles, air conditioner too costly to switch over to new coolant. Great car, wife calls it her "Putt Putt". 30+ MPG on highway and around 28 in town. Regular maintenance, batteries, tires, etc.
