First 1000 miles. Love this car!
I have loved my 2016 Mazda 6 manual. When it reached 200,000 carefree miles I decided to trade. I am a 3 pedal girl and happy that Mazda still offers a 6 speed manual albeit a slim offering. I thought hard about a Miata but hubby convinced me it would not be practical. Mazda of Roswell had a red Mazda 3 hatchback manual in stock. I fell in love the first drive. After some haggling and 0 percent financing, the "great red shark" came home. The car is drop dead gorgeous, and a blast to drive. The engine is snappy and the transmission a dream. There are many "gadgets" I am not big on gadgets, but this was the only trim. I look at it as "things to break. Time will tell. Unbelievably, I am getting around 38 mpg on my stop and go 30 mile commute. Wow! There is definitely not as much space as the 6 but means less crap to put in the trunk. I have not had anyone in the back, but on a fairly long trip, my husband was comfortable. The only cons I see is the glove box is microscopic and the center console is a giant hole with no organization. The rear suspension is fine despite what folks say. I am very happy.

Carbon Edition surprise
Downsizing from a premium sport sedan. Love the looks, handling and price. Not the fastest but handling and build quality along with a nice interior sold me.

Really Good and really bad
First, let me say that the fit and finish on this car is absolutely fantastic. The interior materials and quality makes it feel like a much more expensive car and would rival luxury brands. The buttons and controls feel top notch. The controls and figuring out how to find and work things will take a while, especially if you are a bit older. The stereo has what I would consider average entry level sound. The engine is absolutley wonderful, except for the cylinder deactivation with very much ruins the driving experience if you are a purist. It at time stumbles and will engage / disengage with a jerk. It will annoy the hell out of you if you pay attention. This is not good for an engine and I can not believe Mazda puts this crap in such a wonderful car. The car will get the MPG it claims and can far exceed it if you drive in a flat area and keep it 55 or under. In the hour drive home from the dealer I averaged 44mpg on the computer. Power is ample for a 4 cylinder and I love that they made it a large 4 cylinder. In a world of terrible CVT's the 6 speed regular transmission is a big win in the longevity department. The cabin it tight, cargo space limited. Seats are comfortable if you are not too big. I am about 5'9'' 195 lbs. Back seats are tight, head rooms is limited. With me in the drivers seat, I could not sit behind me in this car. The cup holders are terribly located and under the dash. A far reach for the very limited selection of small cups you can use. No 40 or 30 oz Stanleys for sure. Only 2 USB C ports, no 12 v outlet, but there is an empty hole for one. Want to install a dashcam....not so fast. Every fuse under the hood and in the cabin is hot when the car is off. Your camera will never shut off if you hardwire it. Not much useful storage in the cabin. That being said, it is a really solid car. Cabin is very quiet. Make sure your test drive it with all of your daily essentials in their places. Make sure you drive it long enough to experience the cylinder deactivation and see if you can live with it.

bargain classy sport sedan .
i purchased a zircon mist carbon turbo sedan back on april 7 and currently have 1200 miles on it . the car is beautiful inside and out , with an interior that would match an audi . i got a good deal on it at 31480$ which is about 1800$ under retail . it is very fast , nimble , outstanding quality, and quiet . my gas mileage has been 26-29 mpg and i haven't had it on a trip yet .very sporty in character and yet very luxurious . space is not an issue as there is just my wife and myself . up front there is plenty of room and in the rear ,room is adequate for 2 adults . the trunk is large and it has fold down rear seats . the handling and driving dynamics are great and the car is so much fun to drive whether you are putting it through its paces or tooling around town , or cruising for an hour or so . the car is equipped with just about everything a driver could want . i am truly pleased with this car .

2024 Mazda 3 Sedan
I love the car but would change a couple things: more trunk space, more back seat leg space, move the cup holders closer to the driver/center console bc I can’t fit larger cups without them hitting the buttons above, and availability to open the gas tank cover from inside of car. I also turned off most of my safety features like lane assist, braking assist, automatic windshield wipers, etc. They were too much and sometimes went off when not necessary or needed. Other than that, it’s a nice car, looks sharp and I’m happy with the price.
