Used 2010 Mazda 3 s Sport 4dr Hatchback (2.5L 4cyl 6M) Consumer Reviews
The Ultimate Commuter
I commute daily 75 miles, one way, from Phoenix, up a wonderful, winding highway where the speed limit is generally governed only by one's own prudence. The recent purchase of my 2010 '3' Hatchback has made me a Mazda believer. Plenty of power, plenty of comfort, great interior design and ergonomics, and it corners as if on velcro. The shifter feels stiff, and MPG avg. is only 28 or 29, but zoom on. Love it.
Fun ride!
I needed something more fuel efficient than what I was in---- looked at this car and knew it was what I was looking for. Actually left the dealer two times to keep looking, but knew I'd be back. Buying a brand new car was not in my plans, but I am so glad I didn't talk myself out of it. I was looking for something sporty, yet fuel efficient, and fun to drive. I think I got all this and more with this car. I thoroughly enjoy driving it. It really is a great little car. Plenty of room for groceries in the hatchback area, and the sound system is pretty decent. I'm very happy with my purchase....

The best
6000 mi update. I have this car for almost 7 month now, and I cant get tired of it. Drives very well. Bluetooth is awesome. Just bought a roof rack and bike rack. Car looks even better. So far only one small issue, a loose rear stabilizer bar at 5000 mi, fixed quickly and without hassle. Previously own 07 Subaru impreza 2.5i and I can say that My Mazda 3 is much better car.
Cool drive
Only have owned this cool little Mazda for 10 days, but love it already. After 600 miles I am averaging 29 mpg, in about 60% highway driving. Decent acceleration, effortless cruising, wonderful cornering and handling. Slick 6 speed manual; don't get the auto unless you really can't drive a manual, this is one of the best shifters you'll find under $30,000. Good deals going now, got mine under $18,200 with 0% financing, a great value. Styling is a matter of taste, personally I think it's cool. Bluetooth cellphone connection is something I thought I'd never use, but it's extremely useful, particularly in a manual when your hands are otherwise occupied.
This wasn't written just after purchased
Unlike most reviews that are written just after the car was purchased and are 100% positive because you are so excited, this one is being written four months after purchase, after you get to know the car and it's positives and negatives. Hope it helps you. After driving BMW 3 series cars since 1982 I have to say I'm overall impressed with my Mazda 3 hatchback. It beats my old, aging, E36 Bimmer hands down. The suspension is downright TIGHT, the control is superb. Acceleration with my 6 speed manual transmission is super quick. To me the turbo is overkill.
