There's a reason for all this love.
I compared this ride to the Honda Civic, Toyota Matrix, and Scion xB. Test drove all of them... saving the Mazda for last. What did the Mazda do that the other cars did not? It put a big fat smile on my face. I had to leave the dealer, knowing that I could not negotiate for this car... at the moment (I wanted it too much!) It's an excellent value for under $20K. Great attention to detail, excellent interior, fantastic to drive. The Dynamic Stability Control is awesome, turn it off to squeal tires...and to really feel the difference it makes! Love the ways it says "zoom-zoom" when I get in... then... "hello" when I turn it on.... then "goodbye" when I leave. LoL.

Sticky and Clutchless
The dash melted last year and of course it was out of warranty. Fortunately, the dealer agreed to cover the cost of the part while I had to pay the labor ($302). Yesterday I had to take the car in for a complete clutch replacement, also out of warranty, for an amount of $1600. I've learned that the replacement clutch is a redesigned assembly, most certainly as a result of a flawed original design. What other stock vehicle needs a clutch replacement at 34k miles?

Excellent but a little small when you have a kid
i just got this car a few days ago and its amazing!! i had a 2012 ford focus that i traded in because I've had nothing but problems with it and was tired of dealing with the dumb people at Phil long here in Colorado. So i drove 1 hour and 14 minutes away to this Mazda dealership and got this car. Its great no problems so far when I hit the gas it goes no hesitation. I Love this car so much!! I'd like to add this car is sorta smallish os you have a child. I just think if I would have gotten in an accident it wouldn't be good since it's on the smaller side. I finally got a new car and no longer own this car. The 4 years I had this car it treated me great. I never had issues with it. Never had to have major work or anything. Just normal breaks needing to be changed, and oil changes. I LOVED this car. I'm sad I had to part ways because I needed something a little bigger with my child and we move a lot since my husbands in the service. Other than that amazing car and I'd totally recommend it. Nice little car for road trips. I drove it from CO to WA, WA to TN, and TN to AL.

My Bonnie Blue
I made the decision to purchase Bonnie after an overnight test drive in which I put 126 miles on the car. I made was living in the Chicago suburbs at the time. I had to make an unplanned trip into downtown Chicago during that test drive. She performed well in the suburbs, on the tollway, in the city, and was easy to park and navigate. I realized I was comfortable driving her in all the situations I needed her to perform well in. Since then we have gone 125,000 miles together, and I have never questioned whether she would get me where I wanted to go. My only reason for not replacing her with another Mazda 3 Hatchback is the rear seat and cargo space are rather small, and Mazda has chosen to put in place their own navigation system instead of Android Auto in the 2018 models.
