I retired in March and had to turn in my company car. I looked around several months before deciding this was the car for me. I thought I wanted a NX, but as I am the primary driver and don't have kids to tote around, the UX turned out to be the perfect size for me. I'm so glad I bought the hybrid - it's peppy and gets a fantastic 41mpg. The controls are easy to use and unlike many, I find the info system easy to use - possibly because I use a touchpad with my laptop. Apple Carplay works great so I didn't need the nav system. I bought the base model but it had every option available, so it's loaded with everything I wanted. There really isn't anything I would change on this car. I'm a happy camper.

Loaded with tech! This little car has lots of power and it’s lots of fun to drive. It’s solidly built.

    Best Bang For Your Buck

I needed a replacement car in a hurry. Had no idea UX even existed until I logged on to my local Lexus dealer. I walked in and told them exactly which car I selected from inventory. Best decision I have made. I get an average of 38-40mpg and my UX isn’t even a hybrid version. I haven’t seen but 3 UX’ on the road since I purchased mine brand new in 2020. I like not being every 3rd vehicle on the road. It’s sporty and yet still provides the luxury that Lexus brings to the table. I am single so I didn’t need a bunch of room to haul children and gear and yet I can drop the back seats and fit my hybrid bicycle in without issue. I love the app features to remote start, cool or heat the interior as well as unlock/lock your car. Maintenance costs on this car is minimal compared to many other luxury models I priced. If you’re looking for a car with class with an added bit of sass, then this is the car for you. They even have an F Sport model for those wanting to take things to the next level. This is a 4 cylinder so not much punch when you hit the accelerator from a dead stop at first but it will get up and go when needed.

    - Under powered, rating is 169 horsepower but my heavier Chevy is 150 horsepower, heavier, but far quicker. Acceleration rate is lethargic to the point were it is almost dangerous. - Noisy, road noise is atrocious, almost unbearable. Engine roar is unavoidable to get up to any speed but it is not a pleasant sound - Infotainments system has serious flaws. It is hard to use. You cannot listen to music from a USB stick while using Android Auto, everybody else allows this. Waze is not supported on Android Auto, once again, this works for everybody else. - Don't put anything valuable in the front door pockets, it will fall out when you open the door. I had my keys and wallet both fall out and if I wasn't paying attention I will have had the car stolen since it would have locked with the keys on the ground and left behind. - Adaptive cruise control does not work well at slow speed, it cannot decide what to do. Also if you are at stop and hit the resume it will try to run into the car in front of you if it starts and stops. - Brake hold is nice to have but if you leave it on and park, sometimes the electric parking brake engages on its own even if you don't have it set to engage automatically. This ran down the battery on my car. Seats are not comfortable, I found it difficult to find good driving position that didn't leave me sore after an hour of driving Update: After driving other cars in this class I would lower my rating if I could. I refuse to drive to anymower.
