CPO 2014
I’ve had this car now for almost eight years. April 17, 2025 will be eight years. It had 16,000 miles on it when I got it. It now has 83,000+ miles on it. I’ve taken it on the NY to FL run, or vice versa, perhaps 7-8 times. It is a phenomenal highway cruiser. Other than those trips, and a few shorter trips to upstate NY, it is lightly used around town for just a few miles a week. Its performance has been flawless, with the exception of needing a new AC compressor in summer of 2023. Other than that, maintenance has been limited to two alignments, two batteries, two sets of brake pads, two new sets of tires, and of course a new cabin and engine air filter every year or so. It’s clearly the best car I’ve ever owned, and I think I count 17 cars owned, half new and half used, that I’ve owned in 48 years driving. It is superbly quiet and comfortable. It feels very solid. I really have nothing negative to say about it. Im in the process of moving it to Florida now, where I’ll insure it and register it and hopefully the sun doesn’t ruin it as it finishes out its useful life down here. The paint on the hood does seem prone to rock chips. I’ve had the hood repainted once already, three coats of paint and two coats of clearcoat, and it’s already gotten a couple of small chips again. I’m not sure if this is a design flaw, or simply from all those thousand mile highway trips. I’ll be looking to add another cat for use in NY, and will probably choose another CPO RX 350 over say a new Honda CR V simply because I’ve seen how each of these cars holds up over time, and their comfort level. This Lexus just holds up better than most, including in comparison to my ‘17 Acura RDX, which is an extremely reliable and competent car too, but at about 600 lbs lighter than this car, it’s not quite the same as far as ride/comfort/quietness.

Solid family SUV
This vehicle is excellent. My wife loves her RX 350 and even though it's not as fun to drive as my Jaguar I can say with complete sincerity that if I had to choose between the two the Lexus would win every time. Handles well. Quiet. Extremely comfortable seats and ride. I'd highly recommend this SUV to anyone with a family. There is plenty of room for the kids in the back.

Options selection
I bought a 2014 RX350 with all wheel drive and 19 inch wheels as options, not the Sport which has a sport tuned suspension also and is not recommended here. This set up gives great handling and a quiet smooth ride. After reading about a cushy ride and lack of feel for the road my biggest surprise was just the opposite with this set up.

Love my car
I leased my 2014 Lexus RX 350 last October, so it's been almost one year. Has all bells and whistles. I really love my car. Very quite ride, comfortable seats. Back seat passengers are pleased with all the leg room. Car feels very safe. The worst part of my Lexus experience was dealing with Lexus of Sacramento. But I have found other Lexus dealers much more professional for which I am very thankful.
Replace Brake pads a 11,000 Miles is this Quality
My first lexus was amazing bought this in 2014 the quality all around is gone down that goes for parts mechanical and quality of the materials to make it.......just a lot of quality issues, heated seats work sometimes not all, when you have heat on windows fog up a lot so its a constant battle of getting right levels, carpeting inside not the good quality of my last car over all the whole thing much cheaper in quality than my orig lexus of 2002. now at 11,000 miles they want to replace pads and rotors and call it wear and tear, tells me the quality of their products is poor. UPDATE I WORKED WITH THE DEALER AND CORPORATE AND THEY REPLACED THE BRAKES

Bought Used 2014 with Only 17,000 mi
I read a lot about Lexus and their resale value. The SUV is beautiful inside & out. I was very surprised that the radio does not mute when the navigation gave directions. My 2013 Ford Escape does this very much important feature. The loading of the contact info from the mobile phone is not complete either: the phone numbers are downloaded, but the addresses are not (again, a feature included in the Ford 2013 Escape). The navigation reads bottom-to-top, unlike what I'm use to: top to bottom reading of directions (like the Lincoln/Ford). The mouse is easy to get use to, but I do want to "touch screen" some of the selections. Heads-up if your use to a Lincoln or Ford electronic features, they are much more user friendly than the Lexus.

Recline the Front Seatback causes Airbag Failure
Very refined and polished ride and very quiet which I need for my Tenitus. IAdditionally, I much prefer the was driving along late at night and my front passenger reclined the seat back almost all the way to take a nap. Immediattely the seatbelt light started blinking and tthe "Check SRS Airbag Warning" triangle light came on. Took it to a dealer the next day and was told that it was not covered by Warranty due to something (water bottle, shoes, whatever) "might" have been stuck under the seat that would have caused the yellow wire harness to trigger this warning. I had to pay $149 out of pocket to get it re-programmed. There was NOTHING under the seat and I keep a clean and clutter-free car, and never leave trash randomly rolling around in my car. SO... owner/drive beware, DON'T let your passendger recline the seat back too far...

Door Actuator Problems
Love the car but recently on our 2014 Lexus 350 Sport the back passenger side door actuator went out (could not open or close) in Oct 2019 then just recently Jan 2020 the front passenger side door went out. This is not cheap around $650.00 each to replace and also not good for safety reasons. Anyone else have this problem?
Reliable quiet ride but not all I needed
I enjoyed the reliable and quiet ride provided by the Lexus RX 350 but found it did not provide quite enough cargo space for longer trips and also oddly the front seats were not as comfortable as my previous car (a Toyota Highlander). When I traded it for a new Highlander I was pleased to find that it kept a high resale value (about 50% depreciation over the three years I had it). I have a bike rack and find that the Highlander holds the bikes higher off the road than the Lexus which I seems a plus.

Very happy with CPO
I reviewed multiple CUV before choosing the RX, very happy with my choice. Aside from fuel economy I love everything about this vehicle including the service you get from Lexus. It handles great in my snowy climate and fits my family of 4 with ease.

rippled windshield
we had just purchased our third Lexus plus our sixth Toyota. my husband was having dizzy spells and horrible headaches after thousands of dollars in medical bills we found out that there was a ripple in the windshield that was causing this! took car into lexus said they could not fix this and there was nothing more todo but when they had it in the shop that day they gave us a rental same make and model and same year and no ripple! they told us it was a 2013 when we brought it back a different car porter told us that it was a in fact a 2014. [non-permissible content removed]. customer service in lexus headquarters said they can not do anything either they are aware of the defect
Lexus Should Be Ashamed
First of all, this is my first ever negative review for any company. Unfortunately, based-on what has just happened to us, I felt an obligation to at least warn others. Lexus doesn’t stand by their brand, and ultimately won’t take care of loyal customers even when your car is still somewhat in warranty. We’ve owned two other Lexuses over the past 15 years and have proclaimed we would only buy Lexus going forward for life. Our 2014 RX350 (purchased in 2015 at 28k miles) had a 100k mile warranty or Sept. 2020 expiration. We are just under 130,000 miles on the vehicle and our engine is completely gone (just 6-year old car). We spent over $300 for the diagnostic test alone at the dealership at the request of the manufacturer to validate the assessment of a trusted third party repair shop who told us that the engine was shot and would need to be replaced costing $10K). The Lexus dealership provided an estimate over $6K to fix an engine with the disclaimer that more parts may be needed after tearing it down (assuming the cost is going to be much more). This is not even a new engine replacement. All regular maintenance has been done faithfully at an independent and reputable auto service business. Lexus manufacturer has completely refused to help in anyway even though a representative at the dealership says they never see this happen in these models. Our car is unfortunately not worth more than $13,000 and the cost of repairs simply don’t make sense. Lexus doesn’t stand behind it’s product and have definitely tarnished it’s reputation as a brand. We would have probably spent at least $300k more in our lifetime on Lexus vehicles and passed down the current vehicle to our daughter because of their perceived reliability and quality. This is not the case!!!! They washed it all away for simply not replacing our engine this once or even helping in some way (they didn’t even reimburse us for the diagnostic test they requested to consider the issue). Lexus should be ashamed, and I hope this review helps someone else avoid this situation in the future. Lexus, don’t brag about your product reliability, customer service, and commitment to customers satisfaction. Going forward we will chose to do business with a company with more integrity and honesty.
Home run for Lexus RX-350
This is a 2014 model that had just come off lease and was absolutely clear since it was a Lexus Pre-Owned Certified car. It would not have gained certification unless it was in perfect shape. My disappointments are three: - fuel economy is 20+/- mpg combined city/highway; - tires wear out after only 35K (according to the dealer, this is typical) even though they are rotated regularly and kept properly inflated, and; - the navigation system is very complicated and should not be adjusted while driving. It simply demands the driver's full attention and is difficult to learn.

Ocean City Happy
Purchased this vehicle from a dealership in Pennsylvania in July of 2019. The vehicle had 46,000 at the time of purchase. The vehicle had a clean Carfax, that indicated the prior owner had maintained it regularly. This is my wife's car and a great one. The RX 350 retains it's value for a very good reason... it's a great vehicle! Great driving performance. Quiet ride, quality interior and plenty of room. No complaints what so ever. The only expense to date was to replace the battery in January 2020. Dealership maintenance costs are high. The dealership quoted $220 to replace the battery. I purchased a comparable Interstate battery at the local Valvoline Oil Change shop for $135 installed. I also own an Acura RDX (another great vehicle) and find the Acura dealer to be less expensive for service work. UPDATE... Six months later... still a great vehicle, Great ride, just broke 50K miles.****20 months of ownership and it's still a great vehicle. Now at 53,000 miles. No problems since the last update, changed the oil recently at the local Valvoline Oil Change shop (the same place that I purchased the Interstate battery reported earlier). My only complaint with the Lexus is the cost of maintenance at the local Lexus dealership. As mentioned earlier, the local Acura dealership that services our other vehicle (Acura RDX) is much more reasonable for the cost of maintenance, far more accommodating and much friendlier. For that, I would give the nod to Acura. That said, we are very happy with the performance of both vehicles and don't envision replacing them for several years. 9/15/21... 54,500 miles no problems, still running great. 3/15/22... 56,500 only 2,000 in the last 6 months. That said, great vehicle. We found a local mechanic who does good work at reasonable rates. I think we will have this vehicle for a while. Happy we found it when we did.

Super Reliable
We bought our 2014 RX350 2 year old and it had 22k on it. It is now 10 years old with 175k on it and I have had to do nothing but change the oil, tires, and brakes. It still drives like new and does not burn any oil. The only mistake that I made was not to buy 2.

No more Lemon's
After owning several vehicles in the past, the most recent lemon before my Lexus, was a 2010 Cadillac SRX. What a nightmare! Had several repairs and just within the 2 months that I had the Cadillac.Dealing with a shady dealership didn't help at all!To make a long story short, someone ran a red light and T- boned me on my passenger side, thank God no one was seriously hurt! But they did me a favor! I am now the proud owner of a 2014 Lexus RX! I love my car! I've had it for several months and no problems! I plan on keeping my Miss Lexi, for a long time!😊❤

Great car
Best car on the market in my opinions
RX#2
This is my 2nd RX. I sold an 09 and purchased this used. So far I'm pleased with the car but it lacks small details that the 09 had specifically storage under the the rear deck and some up front like room for sun glasses . While minor issues I wonder why they've been eliminated. On the plus side, I like the electronics. The joy stick option for selecting features is a convenient option. I frequently use phone options and media options. Navigation like other Lexus models is far too complex. I use a smart phone with Google maps even though I have some destinations on the Navigation pre set. Fuel economy is about the same as my 09 but using regular gas does make it a little more economical . The ride is a little stiffer and noise levels seem a bit higher. Nonetheless still quiet for an SUV. I've only had the car about 4 months so I'm still evaluating it. So far...not bad.
