Luxury, Quality, Safety
A friend and I went to a nearby Lexus dealer, checking out SUVs for him. An hour and a half and he was out the door with a new RX300. I was extremely impressed with the treatment he was given; I decided to lease an RX300. I received the same respect he was given. This SUV is meticulous! It's bank-vault solid, rides great, and the AWD is flawless. It's not a typical thirtysomething "guy car" and not the coolest SUV out there, but I'm one guy who thinks this SUV is great.
Old but great
Car runs good as new after 17 yrs on the road. No complaints at all. Couldn’t have gotten a better car.... Only 156,000 miles so far.

Love my Lexus!
This is the best car I have ever owned. Nothing but regular maintenance since purchase 8 years ago. The only negative about this car is the poor turning radius but everything else from styling and comfort to driving experience and reliability is awesome. Love it!
Couldn't be Happier
I purchased my RX300 as a certified pre-owned vehicle with 36000 miles on it from a Lexus dealer. Finally, after 245,000 miles, it had it's FIRST breakdown. The transmission went out. So, instead of putting a lot of money into a vehicle with almost a quarter of a million miles on it, I purchased another 2002 RX300 exactly like the one I had except for the exterior color and it had about 190,000 fewer miles. Couldn't see buying anything else because you can't get the reliability and service you get from Lexus. I can't recommend this vehicle highly enough!
google engine sludge rx300
Bought as fifth owner with 136K miles. Perhaps a risky move but the engine crapped out on the first 300 trip. After looking at the horror stories I'd never consider a RX300 again unless the previous owner maintenance could be verified beyond a shadow of a doubt, too risky.
