The 2021 is an older design which was updated this year. Yes, many of the criticisms are true about power and storage. There is one thing people are missing; it the last NX300 built in Japan where fit and finish are impeccable. People should be lined up to buy this model because they start coming out of North American plants.

For the price of this car, you’d expect something way more fun to drive. We’ve had the car for almost a year, and it’s our 4th Lexus hybrid suv (first NX, came from an RX). That being said, the RX was way stronger. You felt the power when you pressed on the gas. With this one, it’s a little slower, unless you put it in sports mode, where it then picks up a little. I love the AWD, it makes the ride so smooth and handles amazingly. I do like the gas mileage, I’m getting 30-31 and I have a heavy foot. The reliability is amazing, it’s a Lexus! The value holds up very well, I think it even went up since I’ve had it. Interior is very luxurious, everyone that rode with me complements it. Seats are comfortable too. Trunk is a little smaller. I like that apple CarPlay is standard too. We bought a fully loaded one, all options included, top of the line. My cousin bought the base model and it is very different. In conclusion, I think this is a great car for a an older lady, a professional, or a small family of 3. A larger family might feel a little crammed in it. It’s nice because if you get a sports model, it can look masculine in certain colors, but can also look soft in lighter colors, and elegant in the olive green and maroon. Very versatile car.
