We drove most of the competition - the Audi Q5, Infinity Qx 60 & 70, the BMW X 3 and Acura RDX, looking to replace my Acura MDX (which was a great car). The NX (and RDX) stood out in terms of comfortable ride, smooth operation, and interior appointments (although the Acura was really nice also). The engine is extremely quiet and smooth and provides good acceleration with a turbo. It is just a pleasure to drive.

SUPERB DRIVING EXPERIENCE

I come from a family of Honda owners and recently was in the market for an SUV. I took my time doing research as there were so many from which to choose. Boy am I glad I settled on the Lexus NX200t!! This is the best car/suv I've owned. And to think I was going to settle for the Honda Pilot after they made it look like a Mommy Van (not that its anything wrong with moms driving vans, I just don't have little ones anymore). I've owned the CRV before and it just doesn't measure up. This SUV is just the right size, right speed, right package, right EVERYTHING!! Every time I get out of the car I look at it for at least 5 minutes. The design is sooooo futuristic and sleek!! The sound (audio) SUPERB!! I've owned luxury cars (Acura) and mid-luxury (Honda).....but Lexus has completely exceeded my expectations. I thought I would be completely down feeling that I've abandoned the HONDA family which has never let me down....but can I just say I'm doing cartwheels in my mind!! The safety features and feel of the drive is impeccable. I did test drive the RX and although it was a nice drive, it was a little bigger that I wanted and a little bit out of my price range too!! The NX200T loaded was the best option for me! This SUV will definitely compliment my active lifestyle since I'm always on the go, riding my bike, attending races and so forth!! Perfect Choice and thank you Lexus for such superb customer service. FYI - you cant be tall and purchase this truck also its taking me a little getting used to getting in and out....the windows are a little lower than my previously owned cars so i need to make sure I'm not getting out in a rush otherwise you may run the rusk of hitting your head! Trust me in this SUV there's no rush to get out anyway!!!

I had an Acura Tl for 7 years, which was a great car. However it does not compare to the NX Sport. The fit, finish, comfort, ride all exceeded my expectations. I knew the NX sport would be on the top of my list after viewing one at this year's Detroit Auto show. I love everything about the car and i keep finding new features every day. The blind spit sensor is helpful and not distracting. The power is excellent and the ride is smooth and quiet. I tend to keep in in ECO mode, which still offers plenty of power. If I need additional power or handling I can throw it in sport mode on the fly. This returns about 25 MPG with city and highway mix. Overall this is an all around excellent choice. Not to mention it had head turning looks and styling. Update 8/7/16: I've had the car for a year now and still love everything. Only issues I've had are with the touchy track pad and the inconsistent voice command. Also the USB ports could use an upgrade to allow for faster phone charging. Despite these very minor querks I would still rate the car excellent. The cargo space is excellent with the seats down. The opening to the truck could be larger, however that would sacrifice the stlying a bit. I also wish I had insisted on a tow package as there is no way to fit a bike rack without it. I still love getting in this SUV as my daily driver and I plan to keep it for 7-8 years. Update 8/9/17 Car is still great, no issues. Navigation and voice command are below par with other vehicles. Other then that still love the car. Update 8/9/18 Still hold a five star rating for the car. It's been excellent. Update 8/11/19 Still great 3 years in. Zero issues... dod have to change spark plugs at 40k miles, but no big deal. Update2/12/21 Still a great car 5 years in. One issue with the door locks, but otherwise excellent Update 8-12-21 -only had one issue in six years which was the driver door lock mechanism which was under warranty - Car looks brand new, drives great -56,000 miles on the car -Superior build quality really makes a difference Update 2-12-22 60,000 miles - This has been an excellent vehicle for my family. - still looks new thanks to the paint protection and regular waxing - certainly has been a smart choice to purchase this vehicle

Great & Stylish Small Crossover

We recently purchased this vehicle on 12/19/14, and it's been a great ownership experience thus far. The car, particularly the F Sport trim we went with, is very stylish, and has a very aggressive-sport look that we have received many compliments on. The interior is top notch, typical Lexus build quality. For about $46k, there are bigger crossover/SUV options out there, especially if you intend to use the car as a family-hauler. However, if you are in the market for a luxury compact SUV, this is definitely on top of the list.

I have always been a Toyota guy, and moved up to the Lexus NX200T ! What an awesome ride! The NX is the perfect size for me. If you don't have a big family, and don't need a lot of cargo space, this is the CUV for you ! Lexus fit and finish is superb, and the ride is smooth and quiet as you would expect from Lexus. The F Sport which I have has a bit more stiffer ride since the suspension is different from the base model, but still rides great !I also prefer the F Sport front. The seats are very comfortable and being 6'2, I still have plenty of room. The rear seats are also spacious, and have reclining seats. Great stereo system with the premium 10 speakers. Very fun to drive Try it!!
