from 1999 corolla to a 2004 camery then to a 2006 lexus gs 300 awd..I have come to one conclusion....totoya mades good cars, but very bad engine. all their vicheles born oil. Ihave had my gs for seven years now, and has 174000 km, and It has been burning oil since 96000km. I have done everything that ther dealers have required, I have questioned lexus headquaters, but still no solution for my problem. Though my research on all three of my vehicles as well as connecting with other owners and toyota specialty machines, have learned that most totoya and lexus model have that issue once you pass the 100000km mark

Smooth ride, good handling, fun to drive. All of the features are functional and easy to use. Many positive comments from others about the styling and color.

This is one beautiful car. Second Lexus and could not be happier with design, and got a great deal. 300 has plenty of HP! Smooth ride and Lexus quality. BUY IT--if you can. Looked at BMW, MB, Infiniti--for me the Lexus had exactly what I was looking for in a car.

Excellent but room for improvements

The car is a pleasure though not a necessarily a thrill to ride. On the other hand, it's probably not a practical expectation to think of having a thrill ride every time you leave your garage. The pleasure comes from the feeling of driving a tight, quality car, with a nice interior ambiance and external design appeal, and good reliability.

Luxury & Excitement

This vehicle is absolutely phenomenal. The AWD system is excellent, I never had any concerns this winter driving the vehicle. The interior decor is top- notch, beautiful leather, wood-grain, I really like the simple layout of all the buttons and controls for the vehicle. The standard sound system is of good quality. It has good acceleration combined with a silky smooth ride. It doesnt handle like a 5 series Bimmer but it certainly makes up for it with a phenomenal exterior design, great build quality and more importantly, overall reliabilty. Definitely a 10 in my book.
