Used 2016 Land Rover LR4 SUV Consumer Reviews
Review of 2016 LR4 Landmark
Purchased a 2016 LR4 Landmark Edition - great package ! Equivalent to the HSE LUX but a big savings. My wife's car and see loves the space, visibility, and safety. Not as peppy as the old 8-cyl LR4 but will do. Could use a little more leg room and rear seats don't recline. Compared with previous model of Audi Q7, BMW X5, Mercedes, and even 2015 Range Rover Sport and she liked this better.

Got sucked back in again.
Don't risk it! 2016 Land Rover LR4 is my 4th Land Rover in 25 years. Other 3 were Disco's. They came with the usual Land Rover problems, but nothing too major. Bought this one used just like the others, and with less than 85k miles. Should have done my research and learned about the $25k dead cylinder issues that come with this engine. Land Rover dealership, and local Euro Tech mechanic won't do a cylinder job on the 3.0 SCV6. POS! Throw it away, And put a new engine in. Won't even mention the reoccuring air suspension issues. Oh, I just did. I've only owned this thing a year and a half. There, you've been warned.

Beautiful Inside, Engine is Garbage
We bought a 2016 LR 4 brand new. The inside is quite nice and comfortable. This SUV handles really beautifully. However at almost exactly 6 years, with a little more than 60,000 miles, the timing chain went and evidently it took the engine with it. Dealer wants $20,000 to fix it now after originally telling us it would be $6000. This should not happen to a car that was cared for that was only driven $10,000 miles a year. Of course it's out of warranty. And we are being offered no recourse. Garbage. High end trash.
